Experience It! Iguazu Falls Iguazu Falls is one of the most impressive international borders in the world. The falls take up nearly two miles of border between Argentina and Brazil and consist of 275 individual cascades. The most striking section is a 350-foot high U-shaped waterfall nicknamed The Devil s Throat. It is so powerful, the spray it generates reaches high overhead and will often create rainbows. Iguazu National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site. In addition to the remarkable falls, it is surrounded by a diverse jungle ecosystem. Due to the constant spray the falls create, the plant life is able to flourish. As a result, there are over 2,000 species of flora and fauna in the park. In addition, there are a multitude of butterflies and birds that thrive here including colorful parrots and toucans.
