Night halt in vadodara Day 4 Jambughoda, located in nature lap is a unique heritage property providing some exclusive adventures like forest trekking, river crossing. You can go out for bird watching in the jungle or sit by waterfall. You can then visit Champaner which is a world heritage site declared by UNESCO. It is a mosque and is famous for the 7 arch shaped citadels and holds a rich history inside. Night halt in Jambughoda. Day 5 Today we shall move towards ChhotaUdepur, which was also an erstwhile princely state of Gujarat. But now it is a hub for local artisans making pithoda paintings and terracotta horses. You can also visit the local tribes around the villages. Spend the day at the heritage palace and enjoy the royal ambience. Night halt in ChhotaUdepur Day 6 The Garden palace used to be the summer palace for the royal Babi family which still abodes in the same palace. Special camping facilities have been developed. The main attraction is the Dinosaur Park found near the area. The fossil park has been announced as the world s oldest and largest hatchery where you can very easily come across fossilised eggs, fossil bone prints on stone etc. Night halt in Balasinor. Day 7 Poshina hills are at the border of Rajasthan and Gujarat. The darbargadh palace gives an excellent view of the hills and the lush green surrounding on ay we can also visit Patan and Modhera. Patan is famous for its Queensstepwell and Sahastralingam Lake.
The Sun temple at Modhera is a unique piece of architecture. The huge pond with steps in front of the well gives a unique view of the temple. Night halt in Poshina Day 8 Today we shall depart for Mt. Abu which is a very beautiful hill station. You can go for trekking and shopping or enjoy the lake. As per the history, the lake was dug by Nails. Enjoy the evening at the sunset point and return to Poshina for night halt. Day 9 After breakfast, depart for Morbi. Morbi is famous for Clock factories. Spend the night at Morbi Day 10 Kutch is famous for its rich cultural heritage and the versatile options that it offers to a tourist. We reach Kutch and check into an eco resort called Shaam e sarhard (an evening at the Border). Built by local communities and supported by NGOs, this property comprises of mud huts called bhungas. You can enjoy the sights of local artisans creating wonders with their fingers in front of your eyes. Night halt in the resort. Day 11 Today we shall visit the KadoDungar(literally meaning black hill ), nearby handicraft villages and the white desert. The desert appears to be white due to the salt layers. Return to the resort for night halt. Day 12 After breakfast, we shall depart for Nakhatrana via bhuj. Tour of Bhuj city and then, we shall visit the bird sanctuaries near Nakhatrana. Return to the Infinity resort in Nakhatrana for Night halt. Day 13 Today we shall move towards Khirasara which is one of the best palaces in Gujarat. The Palace located at the top of a hill is a sight to behold with its rich ambience and tranquil environment. Night halt in Khirasara palace. Day 14 Junagadh literally means old fort. The city located at the foot hills of Mount Girnar has some very old history dating to 250 B.C. the old fort of Junagadh gives a view of the whole Junagadh city. The mosques and old structures depict the tales of history. Day 15 Today you can visit the Ashok edicts, these rocks have inscriptions of Buddhism which were established by the followers of king ashokan., Also a must visit place is the museum of Darbar hall. (The Royal court) silver chairs lavish chandeliers, gem encrusted textiles and silver palanquin are at display which show the rich wealth of Junagadh. Diu is a union territory and was under the Portugal colonial rule even after the independence of India. It still carriers a reflection of the Portugal rule. The Diu fort all armed in its European form shows the strength with which it stood steadfast during the wars. The beach of diu with the Arabian seas to its calling is a fun place with various water sports, you can visit churches and museums as well. Day 17 Spend the day relaxing on Diu beach or shopping in the nearby area. Night halt in Diu Day 18 Today we shall move towards Gir. Gir is the last abode of Asiatic lions. We shall spend the evening in bird watching and enjoy star gazing at night. Gir is also special for Alphonso Mangos. You can visit the farms and orchards and learn more about farming. Night halt in Gir. Day 19 Today early in the morning we shall visit Gir national park for Lion safari. You can also spot various type of deer and blue bulls. Leopards are also a common sight. You can also visit crocodile breeding farm near the same area. Night halt in SasanGir. Day 20 Nilambagh palace is a beautiful palace and has not lost its charm over the passing centuries. We can visit Barton museum in Bhavnagar. Gopnath beach and ALang shipwrecking centres are also close to the sight. Night halt in Bhavnagar. Day 21 You can also visit shetrunjay hills which has more than 1200 Jain temples along with Mosques till the top of the hills. You can climb the steps if you want or rest at the foot hills.
