The hike starts at the cableway and the walk across the top of Table Mountain to Maclears Beacon is relatively flat. From Maclears there is a gradual descent to Constantia Nek with spectacular views of the surrounding suburbs and beyond. Along the way we ll stop and have lunch. The descent is approximately 8km and will take about 5 hours. HALF DAY HIKE R850.00 PP CAMPS BAY VIA KASTEELSPOORT TO CABLEWAY (3-4 HRS) The hike starts in Camps Bay. Kasteelspoort ravine is a trail that takes one all the way up to the top via a meandering path. On the way you ll see spectacular cliff faces and thick fynbos including our stunning protea bushes. At the top you are rewarded with the most spectacular views of Camps Bay and views of Table Mountain all the way to the Cable Car station and Signal Hill. We then make our way along the Valley of the Red Gods to the Cable Car. This hike can be undertaken by anyone who is reasonably fit.

With a luscious canopy of green indigenous trees and dense fynbos, this popular route includes fantastic views of Robben Island, Cape Town City, West Coast and the Twelve Apostles.
HALF DAY HIKE R850.00 PP 12 APOSTLES SPINE FROM LLANDUDNO TO CABLE CAR 4-5 HRS Definitely one of my favourites!! Once you have hiked up Llandudno Ravine the relatively flat path traverses across the buttresses towards the Cable Car. Streams, rock formations, Fynbos galore and many view points. It has everything! This is more of a less trodden path so quite tranquil and appears wild but very safe and suitable for most.
HALF DAY HIKE R800.00 PP PLATTEKLIP GORGE 2-4 HRS This is definitely one of the popular paths to the top of Table Mountain. The views are spectacular including the City, Lions Head, Signal hill, Devils Peak and Robben Island. It is a strenuous hike but a safe route taking between 2-3 hours. An extra 1-2 hours to Maclears Beacon in a circular route but definitely worth it with views of False Bay and surrounding mountains heading towards Cape Point. HALF DAY HIKE R850.00 PP INDIA VENSTER 4-5 HRS This route offers the most breath taking views of the City, West Coast, Robben Island, spectacular rock formations, Twelve Apostles, False Bay and surrounding mountains literally covering all sides of Table Mountain. Starting near the lower cable car this hike will take 3-4 hours to the top and the another 1-2 hours on the flat Table to Maclears Beacon and return to cable car in a circular route. The route includes gentle hills, some steps and a couple of rock falls to carefully step over. Later on you walk under a canopy of indigenous trees (including the Real Yellowwood SA National tree) crossing ravines and enjoying the luscious green jungle! The hike ends at Rhodes Memorial where you can quench your thirst and reward your hunger with a delicious lunch or tea and scones at the Rhodes Memorial Restaurant and Tea Garden where you can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular view or in winter sit inside next to the log fire with some gluhwein to warm the soul.
