Museu de Arqueologia D. Diogo de Sousa PRESENTATION Purpose-built, modern building, situated in the historic centre of Braga, close to the archaeological ruins of Bracara Augusta, which are also open to visitors. The museum s collections include exhibits originating from archaeological sites in the region and cover a period ranging from the Palaeolithic to the High Middle Ages. The museum has five rooms used for both permanent and temporary exhibitions, an educational department and a garden to which admission is free.
