LONDON Sample Itinerary
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL Welcome to London! Early flight arrival? How about a breakfast location with a historical twist?! Cliveden, a grand stately, Grade I listed home, once residence of the Astor's, awaits your guests arrival for a sumptuous breakfast and private grand tour. If time allows, perhaps followed by a leisurely cruise on the beautiful River Thames which runs alongside Cliveden. With check-in complete at your selected London hotel, guests board a fleet of traditional open-top London buses for a panoramic London tour giving guests a flavour of the main London sights. To conclude the day, an informal welcome cocktail and dinner at the hotel complete with some fun entertainment. The Royal Footmen, comedy mime artists and actors, dressed Louis IV-style, will meet-andgreet guests as they arrive for the drinks reception. Sharp-witted and highly skilled at the art of mime and improvisation, these delightful characters will have your guests in stitches from the very start. Great photo opportunities too!
DAY 2 - TRADITIONAL LONDON Today sees guests acquaint themselves further with some of London s historic sights. First stop Breakfast at the Tower! Guests are met at the Tower of London Gates by a Yeoman of the Guard (Beefeater) for a private short, fun and informative exterior tour of the Tower. An exclusive, private viewing of the Crown Jewels follows no crowds, no rush, just your guests. With the viewing complete, time for a delicious buffet breakfast served in a private room in the Tower grounds. A plethora of choices are available for your next stop but we suggest the magnificent Westminster Abbey, led by our expert Guides. Kings, queens, statesmen and soldiers; poets, priests, heroes and villains, the Abbey is a mustsee living pageant of British history. Final attraction for the day, the London Eye, the world's largest observation wheel. Enjoy the breath-taking views of London during the 30 minute flight. For lunch, a luxury design-led riverboat; dine whilst enjoying the London sights from your floating table. A dine-around evening with a selection of great restaurants to suit all tastes or perhaps take in one of the many spectacular West End shows in London s famous Theatre District.
DAY 3 - QUIRKY LONDON London is a city of many parts and today - guests will experienced the quirky side! London s East End has an enduring history and is a place that is constantly evolving; from the WWII Blitz to London 2012, it is an exciting area to explore. On this Quirky East End & Street Art Tour, guests will discover the city they won't find in the guidebooks. Led by Guides that live in the Community, they will explore the past, present and future of the capital s cultural and creative hub. See and understand the huge range of ever-changing street art, discover Spitalfields Market, the fascinating vintage shops next to Box Park - cutting-edge shops located in refurbished shipping containers, or a village made of tube trains, plus much more! And for lunch? How about your own private fish and chip van serving a delightful portion of bite-size fish and chips wrapped in the company logo newspaper. After a free afternoon guests will be enjoying their last night in London. There is no other way to say goodbye than having a gala dinner in one of the most spectacular venues in London.
