WINTER ACTIVITY CENTRE Join us in the heart of Jasper National Park for family fun right here on property. From enjoying a traditional Canadian pastime on Lake Mildred to trying a new form of skiing on one of our groomed trails, there s an activity for all ages to experience this winter season. SKATING ON LAKE MILDRED When you stay at The Lodge you don t have to go far to enjoy a beautiful day in Jasper National Park. We have a groomed skating rink on Lake Mildred offering round-the-lake oval and hockey rink for pick-up games. Skate rentals available at the Winter Rental Shop. CROSS COUNTRY SKIING & SNOWSHOEING Newly groomed cross country ski and snowshoe trails are now set at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge! Cross country skiing is on Canada s #1 Resort Course with incredible views of Old Man and Pyramid mountains. Snowshoe through the woods on marked trails towards Lake Annette. You may even see some wildlife! Be sure to pick up a brochure at the Concierge to acquire a detailed map. Riding along the marked trail towards Lake Annette, returning by way of Trefoil Lake, this is a great way to see the different forests and mountains along the way. Bike rentals come with helmets, but be sure to dress appropriately. TOBOGGAN PARK Grab a toboggan, tube or sled, and GO! Our brand new, groomed hill is perfect for family fun. MARMOT BASIN Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge offers truly memorable Jasper ski and snowboard getaways. Less than 30 minutes away, Marmot Basin beckons with 4 mountain faces, incredible glades, stunning views and a reputation for small crowds. The new installation of the longest high-speed quad chair in the Canadian Rockies means less time waiting in lines and more time spent on the slopes. Marmot Basin is one of the least crowded ski areas of it s size in all of North America. MALIGNE CANYON ICE WALK The Maligne Canyon Ice Walk is one of Jasper s most popular winter tours! A knowledgeable and informative guide will take you on a 3.5km walk through the frozen bottom of Maligne Canyon. Along the way you will see frozen waterfalls, caves and other ice formations. Ice cleats and boots are provided, dress warmly for the cold weather! WILDLIFE DISCOVER TOURS Travel by bus through the spectacular Jasper National Park in search of ospreys, eagles, big horn sheep, mountain goats, wolves, coyotes, foxes, moose, elk, deer and bears!
