R MY CRUISE VACATION My Story By: I m Going To: I m Leaving On: I m Going Home On: 1

PLACES I AM GOING TO VISIT My ship will stop at places called ports. The ports we are going to visit are: 1. 2. 3. I m going to visit these countries on my cruise: 1. 2. 3. 2

GETTING READY TO GO Some things we need to pack for my cruise are: My clothes My swimsuit My toothbrush My favorite books & small toys Things I want to bring are: 1. 2. 3. 3

MY FIRST DAY GETTING TO THE PORT On the first day we will go to the port where my ship is. I will give my suitcases to a nice person with a cart called a porter. They will take my suitcases to my room on the ship for me. When I go into the building I have to go through a security screening. I might have to wait in a short line for my turn and I will have to listen and follow directions from the nice people at the security check. CHECKING IN When I leave the security screening area I will see nice people who will tell me where we need to check in. There might be lots of people but I won t have to wait long. Then it s time to get on the ship! 4

BOARDING THE SHIP When I get checked in I get to go on the ship. I will walk down a hallway and might have to wait politely in a short line. When I am waiting to get on the ship I might feel: 1. 2. 3. The inside of the ship is big! There will be lots of people exploring the ship. There are many floors to a ship called decks. I will get to explore the ship with my family. It s a fun way to see everything. 5

EXPLORING THE SHIP There is so much to see and do on the ship. I can take the stairs or one of the ships elevators to get around. There are two types of elevators on my ship. One elevator is made with windows so I can look up and down as I ride to different decks. I can get all the information about my ship on the computer or I can ask someone onboard how many decks my ship has. When I ask I will say, Excuse me, how many decks does this ship have?. SOME OF THE PLACES ON THE SHIP I WANT TO VISIT 1. on Deck 2. on Deck 3. on Deck 4. on Deck 6

MY STATEROOM My room on the ship is called a stateroom. My stateroom door unlocks with my SeaPass card so only people in my stateroom can get inside. I need to be careful not to lose my SeaPass card. The stateroom is made clean and tidy by my Stateroom Attendant every day. They will make our beds and sometimes leave really neat animals made out of towels. Our suitcases will be put next to our stateroom door on the first day of the sailing. My stateroom attendant s name is: FINDING MY STATEROOM To find my stateroom, I can take the stairs or the elevators. The stairs may be easier because the elevators might be busy during boarding. My stateroom is down a long hallway. My stateroom number is: My stateroom is on Deck 7

GOING TO THE MUSTER DRILL Everyone must go to a safety drill called a Muster Drill. Here I will meet others traveling on my cruise. I will hear the Captain of my ship talk about safety over the loud speaker. I can always tell my parents if I feel scared or excited! 8

GOING TO DINNER I get to eat at the same table every night and eat my favorite foods. I will always have the same servers when I eat in the dining room too. If my family and I want to eat somewhere else there are other places to eat on the ship including a buffet called the Windjammer on Deck My dining room is called My server s name is Dinner in the dining room is at and it is on Deck. I am to impress my friends by showing them these good table manners: 1. 2. 3. 9

R VISITING ADVENTURE OCEAN Adventure Ocean is where I get to go to play games, make things I get to take home and watch movies. Here I will make new friends that I can play with while I am onboard the ship Adventure Ocean is on Deck My Adventure Ocean staff member s name is 10
