MARITIME AND PORT AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE PORT MARINE CIRCULAR NO.08 of 2016 6 June 2016 Shipping Community Harbour Craft Community PERSONS AUTHORISED TO SUPPLY WATER TO OCEAN GOING VESSELS AND HARBOUR CRAFT IN PORT Under the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 170A), no person shall supply water to vessels within the port unless (a) he is authorised to do so by a public licence or an exemption granted by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore ( MPA ) pursuant to section 81(1) of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 170A); or (b) he does so through MPA or by agreement with MPA pursuant to regulation 74 of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Port) Regulations. 2 The list of persons authorised to supply water to ocean-going vessels and harbour craft at specific locations in the port by public licence or agreement with MPA is set out in Appendix 1. 3 The services of PSA Marine Pte, DEWS Pte and the legacy wooden waterboats set out in Appendix 2 may be enlisted for supply of water via waterboats. 4 Reports on any unauthorised person(s) supplying water to ocean going vessels and harbour craft in port may be made to the following address for MPA s investigation.
