THINGS TO KNOW Tour Activity Level Time Zone All countries on this tour are 5 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time (6 hours ahead during Daylight Saving Time). Electricity To truly experience the program and destination, you need to be able to participate in physical activities such as longer walking tours, walking over uneven terrain, climbing stairs and periods of standing. Some of the touring days may be longer, with select included activities occurring later in the evening. Travel Tips The countries on this tour are six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. The elevation on this tour is between 590 and 1,312 feet above sea level. The currency in Hungary is the Forint, in Czech Republic is the Koruna, in Poland is the Zloty, and in Austria and Germany is the Euro. The voltage in the countries visited is 230 Volts. An adaptor (which changes the physical plug) and/or converter (which changes the electric current) are necessary if you plan to use an appliance with voltage different from the standard within the country you are visiting. Please note, if your appliance has dual voltage you may still need an adaptor for the plug.
