Location Clacton-on-Sea is the largest town on the Tendring Peninsula in Essex. It is a busy coastal resort and commuter town located on the east coast approximately 76 miles (122 km) east of London, 10 miles (16 km) south east of Colchester and 28 miles (46 km) south of Ipswich.
