This includes a number of touchable miniature world heritage sites for the visually impaired to experience what the rest of us take for granted.
Madrid's national library also houses a book museum. Museo de America Museum dedicated to chronicling the history of the Americas, paying particular attention to precolumbus times.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza is the third art museum in Madrid's 'Golden Triangle of Art' (along with the Reina Sofia and the Prado). While the Reina Sofia concentrates on modern art and the Prado specializes in pre-20th century works, the Thyssen (a former private collection) has art from the 13th century to 20th century pop art. A modern art gallery. The exterior was designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron. Inside you'll find temporary exhibitions on photography, architecture and other modern art.
