VENUES INFORMATION & HOW TO GET THERE Bibliothèque Solvay 1040, Rue Belliard 137, 1000 Bruxelles La Bibliothèque Solvay is located in the Parc Léopold, at the heart of Brussels and next to the European Parliament. By metro: (www.stib.be) The nearest metro station is Maalbeek (metro 5 and 1). Take the exit "Chaussée d'etterbeek". Turn right and go down Chaussée d'etterbeek. Cross Rue Belliard, enter Parc Leopold and follow the indications towards the Bibliothèque Solvay. The building is located on top of the park. By train (www.nmbs.be) Closest railway station : Bruxelles Luxembourg : When you exit the station, go towards Rue Wiertz ; therefore you step towards the footbridge of the European Parliament and turn right, under the building (so not towards Place Luxembourg). You go down the steps and turn left. At your right hand side you will see Parc Leopold. Enter the park and follow the indications towards Bibliothèque Solvay. Gare du Midi: Continue by metro: Take metro 6 towards «Simonis- Elisabeth» or metro 2 direction «Simonis Léopold II». Change metro at Arts- Loi and continue with metro 5 towards Hermann- Debroux or metro 1 towards Stockel. Get down at the station Maalbeek and take the exit Chaussée d Etterbeek. When you exit, turn right and walk 5 min on Chaussée d Etterbeek. Cross Rue Belliard and enter the park. Follow the signs. The building is located on top of the park. From Brussels Airport by taxi: it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get to Bibliothèque Solvay. by bus: Bus number 12 of 21 bus stop Schuman or Luxembourg (www.stib.be) by train: there s four trains per hour going to Brussels (20 à 30 min.) In Brussels, step of the train at Gare Centrale - take metro 5 towards Hermann- Debroux or metro 1 towards Stockel. Get down at the station Maalbeek and take the exit Chaussée d Etterbeek. When you exit, turn right and walk 5 min on Chaussée d Etterbeek. Cross Rue Belliard and enter the park. Follow the signs. The building is located on top of the park.

FROM TRAIN STATIONS Stations: Brussels Midi/Zuid or Brussels Central Timetables & Reservations: http://www.b- rail.be From these stations to MCE Conference Centre, it takes about 15 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes by public transport.
From Brussels Central Station Take bus no. 38 (estimated time 30 min) and ask the driver to stop at "rue Van Eyck". From there, cross "Chaussée de Vleurgat" and take "rue Américaine". You will get to a square surrounded by trees that is called Place Alb. Leemans. From that square, MCE is within walking distance, first street on the left from "Rue Washington" (estimated time 5min) IMAGE 1 From Brussels Midi / Zuid Take metro line 2 or 6, direction Elisabeth, and stop at the 3rd metro- station "Louise/Louiza". From here you can take tram 93 (direction "Legrand") or tram 94 (direction "Musée du tram/tramsmuseum" and get off at the 3rd stop "Bailli/Baljuw". From here you can walk to the MCE building.
