CIS Student Recruitment Tours Shaping the future of international education CIS Southern Cone Tour 4-16 March 2018 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil São Paulo, Brazil Curitiba, Brazil Campinas, Brazil Montevideo, Uruguay Buenos Aires, Argentina Asunción, Paraguay Santiago, Chile

ABOUT THE TOUR QUICK FACTS FROM 2017 TOUR 16 Schools Visited 1,600 Students Seen We will begin the 2018 Southern Cone tour in Brazil. For the first week, we will visit key markets and a new destination, Curitiba. The second week will take us to Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, and our final destination of Chile. The Southern Cone tour is a welcoming environment for universities representatives interested in recruitment opportunities in South America and diversifying their campus communities. This tour has been expertly planned and facilitated, so can you get the most value for you and your institution: A small tour group (no more than 15 reps) which allows for more quality time with students 14 school visits and several school fairs Presentations for students at several schools Opportunities to connect and bulid relationships with educational advisers in the region Also, tour participants will have a unique opportunity to volunteer their time through a service project and get to know a different side of the Brazil during their visit. What makes CIS Tours unique? CIS tours have stood the test of time. CIS is a non-profit that has been sponsoring recruitment tours for nearly 40 years. Our tour leaders are all experienced admissions counselors working at CIS member institutions. They understand your needs and goals. The CIS Latin America Committee is a group of experienced admission professionals who volunteer their time to plan and direct recruitment tours in the Latin American region. CIS Tours focus entirely on undergraduate recruitment. Tour events only include invited students from high quality CIS Member schools and outstanding national schools with student populations preparing to study abroad. CIS tours offer inclusive pricing which covers all logistics and events. There are no surprise bills at the end of the tour. The way CIS brought the secondary school counsellors together there was an obvious unified collaboration among the counsellors. It was an impressive network that CIS professional comradery and brand recognition was able to bring together. The experience caused me to return to the office with a heightened goal of continued counsellor interaction. -Seth Walker, Indiana University CIS tours are truly educational. During the tour, participants conduct in-depth workshops to help students, parents, counselors, and teachers learn more about various admission related topics. Daily interactions with admissions professionals from other CIS member institutions allow you to learn from the experiences of others, share ideas, and build your network.
