Sponsorship opportunities at the Strata and Community Title in Australia for the 21 st Century 2013 Conference 4 6 September 2013 Marriott Surfers Paradise Resort & Spa Conference Objective The over-riding objective of the conference is to stimulate debate and research consistent with building and strengthening partnerships across the spectrum of stakeholders. Consistent with our previous biennial conferences that date back to 2005, the 2013 conference programme is being formulated in the spirit of advancing cohesiveness across strata title stakeholders and more fully realising the potential of strata and community title ownership to deliver sustainable outcomes in communal living and working environments. What will be different at the 2013 Conference? While the conference agenda is being designed to again attract the mainstream delegates who have attended the previous events, considerable effort is being directed to attracting more developer, state government and local government authority representatives. This attempt is underscored by the hosting of a strata title policy makers forum immediately prior to the conference. Why be a sponsor? The Strata and Community Title in Australia for the 21 st Century 2013 conference will bring together an international who s who of the fast growing strata and community sector. Secure the opportunity to leverage off your high visibility as a sponsor at the conference to facilitate networking and consolidation of business alliances with other key players in the Australian strata title sector. In addition to representing an excellent opportunity to promote your organisation, products and services to the people that you want to reach, your sponsorship investment is tax deductible. The details of the Gold, Silver and Trade Booth sponsorship opportunities are outlined below. Note: Research that has been benefited from sponsorship pledges made at the previous Griffith University strata title conferences includes: 1. Investigating psychological factors associated with strata titled property ownership (report available from Chris Guilding), 2. The potential of strata title complexes becoming active in localised water management (published report available from Chris Guilding), 3. Governance issues arising in golf course based strata titled complexes (copy of published academic paper available from Chris Guilding), 4. An examination of the motivations of the different stakeholders groups involved in tourism based strata titled complexes (copy of published paper available from Chris Guilding) 5. An examination of the nature and growth of strata titled tourism accommodation properties (copy of published academic paper available from Chris Guilding), and 6. Exploring the nature of benefits deriving from the sinking fund forecasting cycle. Conditions of sponsorship Sponsorship support underwrites the build up to the conference. It supports preparation, planning, and marketing activities associated with the event and subsidises the operational costs associated with management, communications, invited speaker expenses as well as program and conference materials design and printing. Entertainment incidentals at the conference are not sponsored and therefore all sponsorship funding should be tax deductible. Sponsorship amounts quoted below are in Australian dollars.

Gold Sponsor ($16,750 + GST) entitlements Five (5) VIP complimentary fulltime registrations. Either: two (2) standard 3m x 2.4m trade booths for the duration of the conference (4th - 6th September), accommodation in 5 Hinterland View guestrooms on the nights of 4th and 5th September, one (1) standard 3m x 2.4m trade booth and accommodation in 3 Hinterland View guestrooms on the nights of 4th and 5th September. At least one banner (larger than silver sponsor banner) bearing the sponsor's logo will be erected in a prominent area in the: o Conference Plenary Theatre Room (for the duration of the conference) o Conference Gala Dinner Venue. Corporate logo (presented in a way that distinguishes from silver sponsors) with hyperlink where indicated with a * published in the: o Conference Website (*) o Conference Registration Form o Conference E-Campaign Broadcast (*) o Conference Satchel. Corporate 100-word brief with full contact details in the: One full page colour advertisement (artwork supplied by sponsor) published in the conference program distributed to delegates at the conference Opportunity for satchel insert of two (2) organisational materials plus corporate gift Five (5) VIP complimentary tickets to the: o Welcome Cocktail Function o Conference Gala Dinner Access to list of registered delegates 4 weeks prior to conference and updated listing provided weekly prior to the conference. Public acknowledgement of the sponsors will be provided to the full assembly of delegates on each day of the conference.

Silver Sponsor ($9,000 + GST) entitlements: Two (2) VIP complimentary fulltime registrations. Either: one (1) complimentary 3 x 2.4m trade booth for the duration of the conference (4th 6th September), accommodation in 2 Hinterland View guestrooms on the nights of 4th and 5th September, At least one banner bearing the sponsor's logo will be erected in a prominent area in the: o Conference Plenary Theatre Room (for the duration of the conference) o Conference Gala Dinner Venue. Corporate logo (with hyperlink where indicated with a * ) published in the: o Conference Website (*) o Conference E-Campaign Broadcast (*) o Conference Satchel. Corporate 50-word brief with full contact details in the: One half page colour advertisement (artwork supplied by sponsor) published in the conference program distributed to delegates at the conference Opportunity for satchel insert of one (1) organisational material/collateral Two (2) VIP complimentary tickets to the: o Welcome Cocktail Function o Conference Gala Dinner Public acknowledgement of the sponsors will be provided to the full assembly of delegates on each day of the conference.

Trade Booth Sponsor $4,000 (+ GST) There are a limited number of trade booths available. As a trade booth sponsor, you will be provided with one complimentary full conference registration for a nominated representative of your company. Booth details: 2.4m x 3m booth (2.4m high covered in Black or Silver/Grey velcro compatible frontrunner material) 3m x 2.4m high back wall 2.4m x 2.4m high side walls on closed sides 290mm high fascia boards on open sides 1 x company signage on open sides (up to 28 characters on white coreflute panel) 2 x 150 watt spot lights 1 x 4 amp general-purpose outlet (GPO). Furniture & Upgrades- a full support service to all exhibitors requiring furniture, flooring, signage, upgrades or plant requirements is available to all trade booth clients.
