Lecture learning points: Great east Japan Earthquake Damages and recovery on Daigo Town Reflection: Harmful rumors are one of the main cause for the drop in tourism rate. Everyone avoided Daigo Town, Ibaraki s products and this caused them to suffer a great loss!

Learning points: Tourism site, Fukuroda waterfall is ranked as one of beautiful waterfall in Japan! Was affected greatly by harmful rumors Dropped in number of visitors

Reflections: We learnt about how a small rumor could affect the different tourist attractions and affect the tourism rate. In addition, we also tried to make our own wooden planters to be donated to the disaster affected areas. It definitely felt good when I was able to contribute to helping the people living in Ibaraki.
