TRANSPORT FOR LONDON (ENGINEERING, INDUSTRIAL ACTION & ALTERATIONS) SUNDAY 25 TH AUGUST Engineering Works District Line No service between Ealing Common and Ealing Broadway Jubilee Line No Service between Willesden Green and Stanmore Metropolitan Line No trains between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate Piccadilly Line No service between Acton town and Uxbridge London Overground No trains between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction, and between Highbury & Islington and Shadwell (Details of industrial action below) Carnival Related Tube Closures Various stations are closed or restricted so crowd management can be enforced. This means the following stations will be restricted Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines) Closed Latimer Road (Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines) Closing at 11:30pm Notting Hill Gate (Circle, District and Central Lines) Exit only between 12:00pm and 7:00pmfor Central Line only. Circle and District Line trains won t stop there for the duration. Those on the Circle and District Line are advised to exit at Bayswater Royal Oak (Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines) Exit only between 11:00am and 6:00pm with the station closing at 6:00pm Westbourne Park (Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines) Exit only from 11:00am until 6:00pm with the station closing at 11:30pm As a result of the changes, you re being advised to use Paddington, High St Kensington, Holland Park, Queen s Park and Shepherd s Bush Stations which are all nearby but less likely to be busy. INDUSTRIAL ACTION London Overground services will be disrupted this weekend due to industrial action by RMT Union members. The action will be taking place on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, resulting in no service between Willesden Junction and Richmond, Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction, and between Gospel Oak and Barking. The Euston to Watford line is expected to run normally and the rest of this line is expected to run normally on Sunday except for where engineering works are taking place 5
