Chalet Austin s position could not be more convenient as all shops and restaurants are on the doorstep and the ski bus stops just outside the chalet to take you to the lifts a few minutes away. The property would particularly suit a buyer who can see the potential of the space, light and location. Being from the 1960 s, it would benefit from some updating in terms of the décor but the structure is extremely sturdy and made with quality materials, such as thick walls, concrete floors between levels and large wooden staircase. Either a sleek contemporary look would work well, or a sympathetic renovation incorporating the era s retro features would make a truly fabulous option. Middle level The main part of the chalet is accessed via the middle floor which is at street level. It comprises: An entrance with storage. A huge reception room which could become a dining space or separate lounge. The main lounge/dining space set around a fireplace. Included are: a swimming lake set in the forest, tree adventure course with zip wires, golf, tennis courts, rock climbing, pedalos, donkey and horse riding and many walks into the mountains start from there. The cable car runs in winter for skiing and also in summer to give access to higher walks and views, and a downhill mountain biking course.
