SACAA Aviation Act of 2010 (amended 1972 Act) South African Civil Aviation Authority Act, No.40 of 1998 The Act provides for the establishment of a stand-alone authority charged with promoting, regulating and enforcing civil aviation safety and security.
SACAA Mandate: Regulating the civil aviation industry to ensure security and safety by complying with International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and taking into consideration the local context.
