The picturesque drive will take us through fertile farm land with a great variety of products like potatoes, onion, carrots and beets. At the peak of the volcano, we will see the main craters: Irazu, Playa Hermosa and Diego de la Haya. This volcano is the highest in Costa Rica at 3432 meters (11,000 feet) above sea level. Its most recent eruptive stage was between 1963 and 1965 with gas and ashes found throughout the entire country. MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK This national park is one of the most beautiful in Costa Rica due to its combination of gorgeous beaches with crystal-clear water and coral reef surrounded by a lush, beautiful tropical rain forest. These beaches are considered among the most beautiful around the country, where scuba diving and surfing are very popular. After the experience of this mystic natural paradise, sun and ocean, we will have a great lunch to start our journey back to the capital. Our tours begins early in the morning through green mountains and typical towns around the Central Valley to the farmland coast of the Central Pacific, passing by multiple rivers where we highlight the Tarcoles River, home to reptiles, like crocodiles, that deserve a stop for a few pictures during the trip on the Southern Coastal Highway. The rain forest has 475 acres of private reserve and shares a 10 km border with Carrillo Braulio National Park, which forms a buffer zone between the park and farmland. Enjoy a trip through the forest canopy in the Costa Rican Atlantic Cable Car. The Atlantic Cable Car takes an hour and 10 minutes in total and covers a distance of 2.6 kilometers through the treetops of primary forest at a relaxing rate of two kilometers per hour.

TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK CANALS At 6.10 a.m., we start our journey from San José accompanied by our bilingual nature guide. At 7.00 a.m., we will cross coffee plantations to continue through the Braulio Carrillo National Park, covered with beauty and lavishness of its trees and beautiful waterfalls which can be seen from the road. At 1.00 pm, after lunch we will walk through the forest and learn more about the nature and get a better idea of our tropical rainforest, plus enjoy a boat tour through Tortuguero National Park. This park has 29,000 acres and is one of the most important nesting places of the Chelonia midas turtle, or green turtle. At 8 a.m., we will eat a delicious Costa Rican typical breakfast with fresh fruit, coffee, juice, eggs and the popular Gallo Pinto.
