The lower helm is forward and to starboard in the salon. There are two staterooms and a head forward and the master stateroom and ensuite head are all the way aft. The galley is just aft of the salon to port. The flybridge is accessed by way of a ladder from the trunk cabin top. 48' DeFever Accommodations The full beam master stateroom is aft with extra headroom due to the trunk cabin design. There are two guest staterooms forward with over/under bunks. The master stateroom has an ensuite head, which has a Vetus electric fresh water head installed in 2006. The forward head is a Groco manual head installed in 2006 also. Each head includes a 6'5" tall shower. There are custom designed drapes and curtains in the master stateroom. Page 2
48' DeFever Salon The large and comfortable main salon includes a custom designed Arigoni folding teak and laminate, hi-low table usable as a dining table or coffee table. The salon sole was re-varnished in June 2009 and the interior teak throughout was tung-oiled in June 2009. The entire salon upholstery was replaced in June 2009 with Ultrasuede and new foam cushions and there are custom drapes and curtains.
