At Maun airport we take a charter flight to Delta Camp, in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Transfer by boat to the main camp and start birding. Birding and animal viewing at Delta Camp and foot and by mekoro. Waterways surround much of the area and the lodge overlooks a lagoon. The local guides here keep a close eye on the resident Pels Fishing Owl. Morning birding and later charter flight to Khwai airstrip. Transfer to Sango Safari Camp, birding and game viewing already. Game viewing and birding in Khwai Community Area & Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best areas in the delta for African Wild Dogs and other predators. Excellent raptors. Game viewing and birding in Khwai Community Area & Moremi Game Reserve. Big herds of Red Lechwe antelope on the floodplains. After last morning, charter flight from Khwai to Kasane.
