Famously rainy and picturesque, Seattle sits on Puget Sound against a spectacular mountain backdrop. Soak up the city's scene in one the many coffeehouses or head down to the lively Pike Place Market to feast on artisanal and local foods. Check in and relax as you embark on a journey of a lifetime. The cruise departs at 4 PM. Seattle, Washington is a multi-faceted city located in the Pacific Northwest, an area that has grown increasingly popular over the last two decades. In addition to its reputation as the espresso cart capital of the world, Seattle also has a dining scene that features acclaimed local chefs and internationally recognized cuisine. The city is extremely multicultural and is influenced by the Pacific Rim in art and architecture. DAY 2: Cruising: Whether you seek an adrenaline rush or total tranquility, the ship has it all. DAY 3: Cruising: Alaska Inside Passage: Port Of Call Juneau, Alaska: Have your camera ready to capture the rugged beauty of the islands and mainland coast of southern Alaska. The views include glaciers,
fjords, soaring cliffs and misty northern rainforest. Watch for some of the most exotic wildlife in the world, including moose and whales. Explore massive glaciers, misty rain forests and blue fjords. The spectacular views will have a lasting impression on you. Surrounded by fjords, forest and a snow-capped mountain, Juneau is one gorgeous state capital. Its historic downtown harkens back to its gold-rush origins and you can still pan for gold. But nature is the priceless treasure. DAY 4: Port Of Call: Skagway Alaska: The great Klondike Rush lives on in Skagway s charming downtown of restored 19th-century buildings and its historic railway. From the vintage train, admire the mountains and see the 1898 trail that fortune seekers traveled on foot. Indulge yourself exploring variety of options when you head out to explore Skagway. Try Dog sledging, ride vintage rail cars or feast on Alaskan Salmon delicacies. (Optional) At the beginning of the Gold Rush in 1898, thousands of gold-crazed adventurers sought the best starting point for their arduous trek; they found the deepest penetration possible by boat was at the northern tip of the Lynn Canal. This is how Skagway was born. Travel 20 miles from tidewater to the summit of the White Pass - a 2,865 foot elevation. Ride in vintage rail cars as you retrace the original route to the White Pass summit. See the original Klondike Trail of 1898 worn into the rocks, a permanent tribute to the thousands of souls that passed this route in seek of fortune. Experience this unique railroad that symbolizes accomplishment in the adventure of pioneering triumph over challenge.
DAY 5: Cruising: Tracy Arm Fjord: Just south of Juneau lies the magnificent Tracy Arm Fjord, carved by glacier activity. Among the sights to admire from the icy waters are waterfalls cascading down 3,000- foot-high granite walls. Not the most famous glacier but arguably the most dramatic. Enjoy its sunlit mist. Meet the locals: keep an eye out for black and brown bears, wolves, deer and moose. Nestled between 3,000-foot high granite walls, the narrow, twisting slice of ocean called Tracy Arm Fjord weaves through the Tongass National Forest for roughly 35 miles. The shoreline is spotted with waterfalls created by melting snowcaps and trees sprouting at odd angles from rocky outcroppings. You will have ample time to admire the landscape and perhaps catch sight of a few native animals as you cruise through this port. The Sawyer Glaciers are the most dramatic to witness. Framed by mountains on either side, the glaciers are often bathed in a light mist that amplifies the blue hue of the ice DAY 6: Cruising: Another day of relaxation and comfort onboard, dining is about more than just food.
