Welcome 2016 Summer CAMP Volunteers! You have been accepted to serve as a summer CAMP Volunteer Counselor! Get ready to help our CAMPers to boldly go where no CAMPer has gone before during Camp CAMP a Space Odyssey! Your adventures this summer could take you many places, and we re grateful that you re choosing to make at least one of the stops in your adventures CAMP!! This summer we will be blasting off on our quest through the galaxy to help our CAMPers reach their maximum potential. Included in this packet is a list of what to bring (pay attention to the appropriate packing list for ladies or guys), driving directions to CAMP, and your Summer Contract. Please make sure to send in your summer contract via email (sarah.coulombe@campcamp.org) or fax (210-671-5244), prior to training. If you do not send it in, you will have to bring it with you (signed by parent if under 18) to training in order to be eligible to stay. Remember that Pre-CAMP is MANDATORY for EVERYONE EVERY YEAR! Priority for Pre-CAMP Training has gone to those of you who made the commitment to be there for the entire training. If your schedule has changed and you cannot attend the entire Pre-CAMP let us know and you will be placed on a wait list and will only be able to come if spots are available after those who can make the full commitment have been placed. 2016 Staff/Volunteer Contract This is an agreement between and Children s Association for Maximum Potential (CAMP). I understand this commitment requires staying overnight and CAMP will provide my room & board. I understand I must find my own ride to and from CAMP. I understand I must arrive at CAMP on Sundays for CAMP sessions by 11:00 a.m. and will depart after cabins have been cleared as clean (typically by 4:30 p.m.) on Fridays. At 11:00 on Sunday, I will check-in at the Office, drop my belongings at my cabin, and report to the Dining Hall Porch by 11:30 a.m. to meet with my Tribe or Supervisor(s).
