Procurement of AtoN Spare Parts. Singapore C&S works at Raffles Lighthouse and Sultan Shoal Lighthouse.
Project 5 : Replacement and maintenance of aids to navigation in the Straits of Malacca and Singapore Contribution received to date : Contributions received in 2013; IFAN - US$ 1 million Republic of Korea - one hundred million Korean Won Malacca Strait Council - USD 500,000.00; United Arab Emirates USD 100,000.00; Nippon Foundation - USD 400,000.00; IMO Malacca and Singapore Straits Trust Fund USD 50,000. The current balance of the contributions is USD 2,139,825
Project 6 : replacement of aids to navigation damaged by the tsunami incident The Exchange Letter between the Government of the People s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of concerning the Project-6 Implementation has already signed on the 20 February 2011 at Jakarta. The Letter was signed by the n Vice Minister for Transportation and the Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce. Both parties has agreed to work expeditiously toward the completion of the 1st Phase of Project to rehabilitate the first two aids to navigation located in Ulee Lheue Port and Malahayati Port, which also reflect the need for to ensure and maintain the safety of navigation in the Strait.
Project 6 : replacement of aids to navigation damaged by the tsunami incident Regarding the 2nd phase to rehabilitate the remaining five aids to he Exchange Letter between the Government of the People s Republic of China and the Government of the navigation located in Pulau Bunta, Ujung Pidie, Pulau Beras (Breuh), Tanjung Jambo Aye, and Ujung Tamiang, considering the obligation and responsibility to ensure safety of navigation in the Straits of Malacca and Singapore, both parties agreed that will be taking over the total implementation of the 2nd phase, while China may provide technical assistances and support to the n side. Further, has completed the replacement of the 2nd phase of the project on 2012, which include the replacement on Pulau Bunta Lighthouse, Ujung Pidie Lighthouse, Pulau Beras (Breuh) Lighthouse, Tanjung Jambo Aye Lighthouse, and Ujung Tamiang Lighthouse.
Project 6 : replacement of aids to navigation damaged by the tsunami incident Both parties committed to implementing the remaining works expeditiously. The n government and People s Republic of China Government initiate the internal procedures to commence the replacement works. The Soil and water investigation works is already conducted by the company which appointed by People s Republic of China Government on April-May 2013 while the design works and consultation between both parties are in progress.
