What is a family homestay program? Students will be hosted one or two per family upon request. Families are selected and vetted by a host family coordinator and are chosen with the utmost care for their kindness, hospitality and experience in hosting foreign students. The host families have a 24 hour emergency telephone number at their disposal to clarify any doubts or to request assistance in any delicate situations. Full details of host families are provided before departure, including details of all family members, addresses, contact numbers and a map indicating the location. Educational Benefits Not only do students have a great time while learning the language but they also realise the value of a second language. They speak it and see the results. Upon return to the US, students are notably more motivated, serious and have a more mature outlook on studying in general. This facilitates the work of teachers and provides students with a solid grounding for their future studies and careers.
