Day 1 USA Fly overnight to Buenos Aires via major international scheduled airline. Dinner and breakfast served aloft. Day 2 Arrive at Buenos Aires' Ezeiza International Airport. Greeting by your highly-qualified Tour Manager. The Tour Managers we select are chosen for their high-energy and commitment to customer satisfaction. For the duration of your stay, your Tour Manager will be coordinating and managing all of your scheduled activities and will be available to you on a 24-hour basis should you need special assistance. City Sightseeing Tour Three-hour city sightseeing tour on your comfortable motorcoach giving you an overview of Buenos Aires' culture and history as seen through its neighborhoods and historical landmarks.
Included highlights are the Casa Rosada (presidential palace), Palace of Congress, the world-class Teatro Colón opera house, Avenida Nueve de Julio (a ten-lane wide avenue with an esplanade in between), and the Obelisk (reminiscent of the Washington Monument). Continue on to the delightful neighborhoods of La Boca, San Telmo (birthplace of the Tango), Palermo (with wide boulevards, leafy parks, and extravagant monuments) and Recoleta (highlighted by the cemetery featuring opulent mausoleums where "Evita" Peron is buried). After completing your tour you will understand why Buenos Aires is often compared with Paris and Madrid. City Tour ends at your Three-Star Hotel. This afternoon, visit the Monumental Stadium, home to the famed River Plate soccer team and host to the 1978 World Cup Final, where Argentina defeated Holland 3-1 in overtime for the first of its two World Cup championships (so far!). After a guided tour of the facility, stop at Rivermania, the shop with every kind of "River" merchandise imaginable. Suggestion: Visit Las Cañitas neighborhood, one of the nicest districts in the city, famous for its many restaurants, bars, pubs and nightlife. Day 5 Suggestion: Visit Calle Florida The 10-block long pedestrian shopping street in the heart of downtown Buenos Aires. There is an unending variety of shops featuring some of the best-quality goods you will come across during your entire trip. Typical Argentine items of interest include jackets, shoes, boots, pants, wallets, purses, gloves, etc., basically anything made out of leather. "Florida" has many cafés and restaurants available for lunch on your own. Boca Juniors Stadium Tour This afternoon, visit the legendary Bombonera Stadium, home to the famed Boca Juniors soccer team. Enjoy a Guided Tour of the stadium starting in the locker rooms, heading out through the tunnel and onto the field. Day 6 ROSARIO Check out of your hotel. & Pampas Ranch Day Full-Day Tour Depart in your private motorcoach for an exciting visit to an authentic Argentine "estancia" (cattle ranch). Experience the life of the "gauchos" (cowboys) through roping demonstrations, rides on horse-driven carts plus folklore dancing and singing. ROSARIO With a population of approximately 1 million people, Rosario is Argentina s thirdlargest city (after Buenos Aires and Córdoba). the national flag and patriotic causes. Continue along the Costanera, a refreshing tree-lined road along the shores of the Paraná. Take in Parque de la Independencia with its beautifully laid out Jardín Francés gardens and visit one or two of its museums, featuring treasures of Latin American religious art and indigenous American ceramics.
