CS Events Why SARDINIA 1. Beaches Relaxing on a beach is great but often it can get you lazy! So, do not miss the chance to visit different ones even in the same area. Beaches in Sardinia are beautiful and unique and all very different from each other. It does not matter if you just go for a walk in the low season or to sunbathe in the summer, you can still enjoy incredible views. 2. Explore Sardinia archaeological and mysterious sites There are so many! The famous Nuraghes going back to the 1500 BC, which according to some, were to be Atlantis towers. And then the Tombs of Giants and the Domus de Janas, meaning fairy houses in Sardinia, both very ancient and fascinating burial sites. 3. Discover the amazing landscapes Visit the inner Sardinia and its woods This is a paradise for hikers and trekking lovers but can also be done by jeep with less effort. Several routes are normally available to tourists and take them to the town & woods of Orgosolo, the underground Nuragic village of Tiscali or the Canyon of Su Gorroppu. 4. Snorkelling, diving, surfing, canoeing and climbing are all great activities to be taken on the island It does not matter if you are a beginner or an expert. If you are up for it, there are many professionals that can help you enjoy these activities in the best Sardinia locations and leave you with great memories or a new passion! 5. Take a boat trip If you visit in the spring-summer season, take a boat to admire Sardinia coastline and the minor islands. 6. The food! and wine off course. The most authentic Sardinian cuisine is often served in local trattorias or Agriturismo. Agriturismos are the ideal place to taste the famous roasted suckling piglet, lamb stews, ricotta cheese culurgiones & malloreddus pasta, artichokes & potatoes stews, wild asparagus omelettes etc.. Red & white wines and Mirto liqueur are a must. Sea food must not be underestimated though. Local trattorias or restaurants can prepare you some delicious specialities. 7. Find out about Sardinian traditional crafts Anywhere in Sardinia you will see beautiful corals, the traditional handmade tapestries, silver jewels made of the so called filigrana and what in ancient times was called the black gold: the obsidian stone. Finally fine typical corn knives can be found all around the island. 8. Sat Enjoy a full day excursion which will make you discover the inner beauties of Sardinia, going off-road on board of4x4 jeep cars. CS Events Day three full day option1) GALLURA BY GEEP Guests will be picked up in the morning and transferred by jeep to the Arzachena. They will visit the nuragic settlement of Albucciu and then reach the Megalitic Tombs of Coccu Vecchiu Driving through the panoramic way we reach the sanctuary of S. Giacomo. Next there will be the visit of the olive trees area of Luras, internationally known and start driving back following the route leading from S. Pantaleo and facing the Gallura area. A rustic pic nic lunch will be served with the help of the local farmers.
CS Events Day three full day option 2) LEISURE SAILING REGATTA Sailing boats and professional staff will be at disposal for a day dedicated to sailing and the regatta. The day starts with a short lesson before actually boarding the saling boats. After an hour or so of training the regatta starts It is a great way to discover the coast, be active and this can turn also into a competitive activity. Simple lunch will be served on board.
CS Events Day three - dinner Gianni Pedrinelli This is a seasonal restaurant open from March to October located on the shoulder of the Golfo del Pevero The indoor room can sit up to 150 people and had a variety of selected art pieces. There is also a smaller room for up to 50 people. In the summer period, when the weather permitts, the service is organised also on the terrace overlooking the gardens. www.giannipedrinelli.it
