Tour Descriptions for Willemstad, Curacao COASTAL KAYAK & SNORKELING Willemstad, Curacao Tour Code: WIL_26 Today you can experience Curacao in a very special way. No motors or huge groups of people just kayaking, snorkeling, nature and the open Caribbean waters! Departing from the pier, you ll be transferred to your kayaking stop. Once you ve been briefed by your guide, you re ready for your kayaking adventure. First you ll travel to an old pier where you ll be amazed at how the sun changes the color of the sea a beauty that is unique to the Caribbean. If you look carefully, you may even be able to spot red coral under the water. You ll pass by Fort Beekenburg, a well preserved fort, which was originally built in 1703 to protect the inner bay. You will also see an old typical manor estate known as the Quarantine House. Next, you ll head to Doctor s Bay for your snorkeling experience. You ll get a glimpse into the underwater world and may also see a shipwrecked tugboat that all types of fish call home. This is the #1 snorkeling spot in Curacao.
