The Motorcycle Federation of Chile and Prokart Producciones are proud to introduce 2018 FIM ISDE. This will take place in Chile 11 years after the country last hosted event. Viña del Mar will host this incredible event, scheduled from Monday October 22nd to Saturday October 27th, 2018.

CHILE A G R E AT C O U N T R Y F O R ISDE Chile is extremely well connected with the rest of the world. 18 international airlines are currently flying to Chile. The biggest airlines offer daily flights to Santiago. More than 18 airlines fly to Chile
Its cities are formed by the remains of its colonial past and native culture (Mapuche, Rapa Nui, amongst others ). Chile possesses contrasting landscapes, such as Desert of Atacama in the north of the country and Patagonia in south.
Thanks to its stable political situation, Chile is known to be the safest country in South America. It also boasts high quality health services, many of them being the best ones of South America. For all these reasons, we believe that Chile is the perfect place for an event such as FIM ISDE.
In 2007, FIM ISDE arrived in Chile for the first time. La Serena was chosen as the host city for the previous edition, which was deemed a great and total success. 522 riders competed against each others. A massive audience of more than 50,000 people supported their favorite competitors over the 6 days.
VIÑA DEL MAR PADDOCK AND RACE FIM ISDE
Confidencial The city of Viña del Mar is located next to the well known Valparaiso, in the country s fifth region. This coastal area is located only 75 minutes from the international airport of Santiago. Its close proximity to Valparaiso s port (about 10 minutes) makes Viña del Mar a strategical location in Chile.
Confidencial The Ciudad Jardin has the country s second largest number of hotels, with several 5 stars establishments. It is also known for its outstanding cuisine, Chile s largest gambling casino, access to cultural places in Valparaiso, music festivals, among others, which provide entertainment to many tourists during the year.
Confidencial Viña del Mar, and the surrounding area, enjoy a Mediterranean climate all year. In October the days tend to be hot and dry, with an average of 25 degrees Celsius, allowing its visitors to enjoy Chile s best beaches. The city has the perfect mix of sand and Mediterranean forest, which will provide the ideal terrain for the various special tests and overall course.
Confidencial The Paddock will be located in the heart of Viña de Mar in a central area of the city, which will give incredible visibility to 2018 FIM ISDE. The action will take place in the high hills and beaches close by. On the other hand, the riders will also be near to their accommodation, with easy access to the course.
The first two days of competition will take place in the north of the fifth region, in the area of Papudo and Zapallar, both known for their long sandy beaches and mountains. Confidencial
Confidencial The third and forth days of 2018 FIM ISDE will take place at the heart of the fifth region, where the villages of Casablanca, Limache and Quilpué are located.
The fifth day of competition will start from the city down to the south east of the region, and will include the seaside cities of San Antonio and Santo Domingo. Confidencial
DAY 6 The final day of 2018 FIM ISDE will deliver a fitting climax to the event, with the closing motocross planned to take place in the heart of the city in order to reach the largest possible audience.
VALPARAÍSO Ongoing work regarding a dedicated shipping service to transport motorcycles and other equipment from a central point in Europe directly to the port of Valparaiso continues, further information will be communicated in due course.
