Depending of the specific specimen group and seasons variations, the birds' activity in the aerodrome manoeuvring area is characterized as follow: flight high, between 10M (30FT) and a maximum of 70M (210FT) main concentration areas nearby threshold's runways 03 and 21. Some specimen groups, like sea gulls (larus and larus argentus), crosses aerodrome field area from EAST to WEST and viceversa during morning and evening periods. Page 7 AIP PORTUGAL LPCS AD 2-9 2.20.5 Re-fuelling Refuelling services between Sunset and 08:00 LMT After Sunset refuelling staff will grant all requests till 30 minutes after Sunset without additional charges. Between Sunset plus 30 minutes and 23:59 LMT additional charges will be applied by refuelling services Between 00:01 and 08:00 LMT higher additional charge will be applied. The additional charges are applied on a per aircraft basis. The refuelling Company will ensure reopening of fuel service whenever requested between Sunset plus 30 minutes and 08:00 LMT. LPCS AD 2.21 NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES Runway 35: The before take-off engine check is not allowed at the holding point Runway 35, between 20:00 and 08:00 LMT Engine tests are performed in Taxiway L or W, on weekdays between 08:00 and SUNSET LMT. At weekends and holidays at Taxiway W between 10:30 / 12:30 and 15:30 / 17:30 LMT Run-ups: Are only allowed during day time (except medical emergency, humanitarian character and urgent position flights, whenever necessary to ensure operational readiness), in the following areas: Aircrafts - on holding bay close to taxiway West. Helicopters - on South and West heliports only LPCS AD 2.22 FLIGHT PROCEDURES 2.22.1 Cascais AD VFR flight restrictions Resulting from the Air Traffic complexity observed in Lisboa Approach Area, with special emphasis in VFR flights to and from Cascais Aerodrome (LPCS), and aiming to avoid traffic delays to and from Lisboa Aerodrome (LPPT), the following restrictions shall be observed from the traffic originated in Cascais Aerodrome: Daily 07:00 / 21:00 UTC, one aircraft each 10 minutes, excepting from Monday to Friday in the periods between 07:00 / 09:00, 12:00 / 15:00 and 18:00 / 21:00, that will be one aircraft each 15 minutes. Aircraft in the following described conditions will be exempted from the above referred restrictions: 1. Aircraft departing Cascais Aerodrome VFR passing to IFR (FPL flight rules Z) and destination Outside Lisboa FIR, 2.
