GENERAL INFORMATION This document provides general information that will help you during your stay. Food Services Vending machines are located in the break area adjacent to the cafeteria. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the premises of any GE facility. Messages People who need to leave business-related messages for you should call (717) 242-0327. Messages can be retrieved from the front desk. Parking Free parking is available. We hope that this document will help introduce you to our area and contribute to a pleasant stay in our community. The main East/West route in the area is U.S. Route 322. Locally, it is called the 322 or bypass. The main North/South route in the area is U.S. Route 522. The Quality Inn & Suites (717-248-4961) and The Super 8 Motel (717-242-8888) are both located at the Burnham/Yeagertown exit of Route 322. Burnham and Yeagertown are two small towns near. The Best Western Nittany Inn (717-667-9595) is located off Route 322 at the Milroy exit. From State College The drive from State College will take approximately 30 minutes. Take Route 322 East from State College. After crossing the Seven Mountains you will pass the Milroy exit, then the Belleville/ Reedsville exit, then the Burnham exit. You need to take the next exit West 22, South 522 (Mt. Union). Continue on this highway for approximately 4 miles. Take the Industrial Park Road/Business 22 exit. Immediately before the traffic light, make a right turn onto Industrial Park Road. To enter through the Customer Solutions Center entrance, take your first right on to Middle Road. Take your first left on Expansion Drive. Enter GE on the left. You can park in the parking lot at the CSC entrance. From the Best Western Nittany Inn Turn right from the hotel parking lot and go to the traffic light. Turn right. Follow signs to Route 322 East. Take the exit West 22, South 522 Mt. Union. Continue on this highway for approximately 4 miles. Take the Industrial Park Road/Business 22 exit. Immediately before the traffic light, make a right turn onto Industrial Park Road. GE is the first complex in the park, on the right-hand side of the road. You can park in the parking lot in front of the building. The drive from the hotel will take approximately 10 minutes. Turn left from the hotel parking lot and go to the second stop sign ( T intersection at the car dealership Calkins Pontiac) and turn right. Then make an immediate right onto Route 322 East. Take the first exit West 22, South 522 Mt. Union. Continue on this highway for approximately 4 miles. Take the Industrial Park Road/Business 22 exit. DRIVING INFORMATION From the hotels, going East on Route 322 takes you past the exits and towards Harrisburg (60 miles). From the hotels, going West on Route 322 leads to the Seven Mountains area and State College (Penn State University). It is about 30 miles from to State College. If you turn left from the Quality Inn or Super 8, you are on West Freedom Avenue (Ferguson Valley Road) headed toward the town of Burnham. At the first red light, turning left will take you to The Mifflin County Commons shopping center. That includes K Mart, Giant Foods, Subway Sandwiches, and several other stores. Before the next red light is the entrance to Burnham Shopping Center containing Blockbuster Video, J.C.Penney, Weis Food Market, CVS Pharmacy, and more. At the second red light is the intersection with Logan Blvd. Turning left takes you to Yeagertown (becomes Main Street), while turning right takes you to (becomes Electric Avenue). The majority of the fast food restaurants are located along Logan Blvd. and Electric Avenue. If you follow Electric Avenue into, it becomes Valley Street that in turn becomes a one-way street (East Third Street), which ends up on the west side of and intersects with Route 522. In downtown, Market Street (East and West) and Main Street (North and South) intersect at Monument Square, the center of town. This area of contains many restaurants and shops. Market Street is one-way, East and Third Street runs parallel to Market and is one-way West. Directions from Harrisburg International Airport to Go east on Airport Drive for about 0.5 mile. Turn right onto ramp and merge onto the Airport Connector. Go about 1 mile and merge onto I-283 North toward Harrisburg. Go about 3.5 miles and I-283 North becomes I-83 N/U.S. 322W. Go about 3 miles and merge onto I-81 South/U.S. 322W via exit #51A toward Carlisle/. Go about 2.5 miles and bear right onto US 322 West to. is approximately 60 miles. Take a the West 22/South 522 (Mt. Union) exit. This is a left turn exit from 322 West. Drive approximately 4 miles. Take the Industrial Park Road/Business s22 exit. Air Travel to, PA Visitors can fly into either Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) or to University Park Airport (SCE) in State College, PA. Harrisburg is located approximately 60 miles east of while State College is 30 miles northwest of. Harrisburg has jet and commuter service while University Park Airport only has commuter service. Cars can be rented at either location.
