Welcome to GGAA2016 The organising committee of the 6th Greenhouse Gas and Animal Agriculture Conference (GGAA2016) invites your organisation to participate in this conference through sponsorship and/or exhibition. The GGAA conferences are the key international conference that summarises the collective state of scientific knowledge on the advancement of abatement strategies for the livestock sector. Following on from 5 previous GGAA conferences, this conference will summarise the latest research on the measurement, modelling and mitigation of greenhouse gasses from animal agriculture. It will feature highly respected and internationally renowned speakers who will review the state of the science and present significant new developments and scientific advancements in the field. This world leading international conference will attract delegates from around the globe to present the latest scientific knowledge on livestock greenhouse gases (GHG). The conference will focus on advancements in the areas of animal derived GHG mitigation since the last meeting in Ireland in 2013. Efforts are also underway to maximise participation by delegates from developing countries. 2
The Conference About the Conference Held every three years, this Conference is expected to attract over 400 participants from all over the world with strong representation from Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Oceania region. It presents a unique opportunity to bring together researchers, scientists, practitioners, experts and enthusiasts from a range of professional interests and disciplines across the field of agricultural animal greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and management. Previous GGAA Conferences have been held in Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland and Japan.
