A comfortable travel experience at the highest level the new Lufthansa Business Class In the summer of 2012, the new Lufthansa Business Class will be introduced on long-haul flights starting on board the new Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental and the new Airbus A330. In order to offer a product perfectly tailored to the wishes of passengers, Lufthansa has involved its customers intensively when developing the centrepiece of the new Business Class. So that all Business Class customers can enjoy the new product on intercontinental routes, the entire Lufthansa long-haul fleet will be successively equipped with the new Business Class. Seite 1

Star of the class: The new Business Class seat 1.98 metres long, horizontal sleeping position Innovative air cushioning system for individually adjustable cushion firmness Increased shoulder clearance and complete spatial separation in the upper-body area thanks to wings on the seat backs Foldable armrests increase the horizontal surface and broaden the sleeping space. All positions between upright and horizontal can be adjusted continuously in an ergonomically optimised curve without requiring the passenger to stand up.
