REGISTRATION AND PRICES You can register through the website of UAEJJF www.uaejjf.org Deadline: January 9, 2017-11:59pm Check date: January 10, 2017-12:00pm (no changes will be accepted after this date). Refund policy: The registration fee is non-refundable. Exemption: Athletes who are alone in their bracket are eligible receive a full refund of the registration fee if they contact registrations@uaejjf.org and request withdraw their name from the competition prior the end of the appointed event registration check day. If you are alone on your bracket you can contact registrations@uaejjf.org till the day before registrations check day and request a change on your registration; UAEJJF does not guarantee that the division you want be moved will have another competir at the day of the event. Prices: Adult and Masters: USD 50-65. Juvenile: USD 50 Adult and Master participant should also become a member of UAEJJF. Juvenile athletes do not have pay this membership. WEATHER: Normally January the weather in Abu Dhabi is cool. Expected temperatures between 20 35 degrees Celsius. 5. TRANSPORTATION Competirs and visirs IPIC Arena may hire rental cars, shuttle buses or taxis from local airports for a fee. For more information, consult a transportation representative at your arrival airport. 6. WEIGHT-IN Weigh in will be held with the Gi. Athletes may only weigh up and fight if they are carrying an ID (identity document) with a phograph, otherwise the athlete will be disqualified If you don t come the weight-in ( check weight) you will be aumatically disqualified The schedule of the weight in will be announced on the UAEJJF, and FBJJ website. 7. KIMONO AND NO GI CONTROL Kimono and NO GI uniform check will held right before your match. Only white, blue, and black Gis are allowed. We strongly recommend bringing more then one Gi in case one gets damaged during the match. 8. COACHES ACCESS Coaches will NOT be allowed in the fighting area on the first floor. 9. RULES MEETING UAEJJF rules will be used in this event. Please check for rules details at the UAEJJF website. http://www.uaejjf.org/pages/uaejjfrules There will be a rule meeting held by the Official Head Referee from UAE- JJF. Coaches and competirs are welcome participates. The organizer of the Grand Slam Abu Dhabi 2017 and UAEJJF has no liability for any claims of material damage or loss, injury, illness or death arising during the participation and traveling in connection with these events. We strongly recommend fighter coming from abroad, purchase any type of insurance. 13. VISA Athletes who need Visa for UAE, please consult the Consulate or Embassy of UAE of your country. The Organizer is happy help any athletes and officials with obtaining visa, by writing an invitation letter for this event. 14.
