AIRBERLIN SUPERSELLER FAQS Any questions? We have the answers. WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF AIRBERLIN SUPERSELLER? The program has many advantages. Participating travel agencies and selected employees at the owner s discretion 44can independently redeem their collected topbonus miles for award flights, vouchers, optional extras and other topbonus shop benefits at any time. 44may use their collected miles not only for flights, but also for any other offers available in the topbonus shop. 44receive their benefits throughout the year, after each booked flight has departed, without having to wait until the following year. WHICH AGENCIES CAN REGISTER FOR THE AIRBERLIN SUPERSELLER PROGRAM? All agencies that meet the following criteria are eligible to apply: 1. 2016 sales of at least EUR 7,000 (net fare). 2. The agency is headquartered in one of the following countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, United States of America, Sweden, Finland or Denmark. 3. The company does not act as a consolidator or online travel agency. CAN NON-IATA AGENCIES REGISTER FOR THE PROGRAM? Any agency that meets the participation criteria may take part in the program. This applies to both GDS and CRS agencies. HOW DOES THE REGISTRATION PROCESS WORK? Every agency has the option of setting up a main account. A main account may only be set up by the owner, managing director and/or the owner s authorised representative. Once a main account has been set up, the applicant (owner, managing director and/or the owner s authorised representative) has the option of activating registration for selected employees. WHAT IS A MAIN ACCOUNT? A main account is the membership account of the owner, managing director or the owner s authorised representative. It will be the agency s only account, if membership at an employee level has not been selected. As a consequence, all the agency s employees making bookings will collect points in a shared account and the converted topbonus miles will be credited to a single topbonus account. It will be up to the main account holder to decide how the topbonus miles will be used.

HOW MANY MAIN ACCOUNTS CAN BE SET UP FOR A TRAVEL AGENCY? Only one main account may be set up per agency and/or IATA agency number. WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THE MAIN ACCOUNT, IF EMPLOYEES MAKING BOOKINGS MAY ALSO REGISTER FOR THE PROGRAM? The main account is the starting point for the associated accounts of any additional, individually registered employees. Registered members generally collect points in their own individual account. At the end of every month, these are converted into topbonus miles and transferred to the respective person s corresponding topbonus account, if the main account holder so chooses. If he/she decides against the proposed distribution to employees making bookings, all the collected points will be aggregated and credited to the main account. Then the converted topbonus miles will also be credited to the main account holder s topbonus account. HOW CAN INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEES OF A TRAVEL AGENCY REGISTER FOR AIRBERLIN SUPERSELLER? When the owner, managing director or the owner s authorised representative applies for registration of the main account, he/she has the one-off option of activating registration for all employees making bookings, as part of the registration process. If this option is selected before the registration of the main account is complete, the main account applicant receives an e-mail invitation for his/her staff to register when this account has been set up. At his/her discretion, the applicant can then forward such invitation to any employees, who may then also register for. Thus, it is solely up to the main account holder to decide which employees may register for the program. HOW ARE POINTS COLLECTED AT AN AGENCY LEVEL (NO SEPARATE EMPLOYEE ACCOUNTS)? If the owner, managing director or the owner s authorised representative decides not to set up separate employee accounts when registering the main account, all the points will be collected in the main account and therefore only credited to a single topbonus account (that of the main account holder) and converted into topbonus miles. Then only that holder is entitled to redeem the topbonus miles. IS IT POSSIBLE TO SWITCH BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT VERSIONS (COLLECTING IN THE MAIN ACCOUNT AND/ OR SEPARATE COLLECTING BY INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEES) IN THE COURSE OF A YEAR? No. The decision taken by the main account applicant during registration applies for the entire calendar year. WHAT HAPPENS TO THE POINTS COLLECTED BY AN EMPLOYEE IF HE/SHE LEAVES THE COMPANY? It is up to the main account holder to decide what will happen to the points collected in an employee s profile. CAN EMPLOYEE ACCOUNTS BE MERGED AT A LATER DATE? Every account is unique. Individual accounts cannot be merged. WHAT IS A TPIN? A TPIN is a 6-digit letter and number code that the registered travel agency and, in the case of individual memberships, the individually registered employees receive with their registration confirmation. The TPIN should be entered in any booking performed as of 01.01.2017. Only bookings, in which the TPIN of the person making the booking is entered before the ticket is issued can subsequently be included and evaluated. HOW DO I ENTER A TPIN IN A BOOKING? WHAT HAPPENS IF I FORGET TO ENTER THE TPIN IN A BOOKING? As soon as the booking is complete and/or the ticket has been produced, the TPIN can no longer be entered. Therefore, such booking cannot be included. WHAT HAPPENS IF I ACCIDENTALLY ENTER THE INCORRECT TPIN IN THE BOOKING? If you do not enter your individual TPIN in the required format, the booking will not be eligible for point accrual. No corrections may be done at a later date. HOW CAN I VIEW MY COLLECTED POINTS? Your collected points will only be credited to your account per coupon after the booked flight has departed. You can view the collected points in your personal account at any time. WHAT IS THE BASIS FOR THE CALCULATION OF POINTS? The net fare is used to calculate points. The booked flight ticket must also be issued on airberlin (745) ticket stock and the flight carried out with an airberlin group operating flight number. Sales with other airlines are not included in. WHERE CAN I VIEW THE SALES USED FOR THE POINTS CALCULATION? You can view your detailed points account balance under section Reports of your profile at any time. IS IT POSSIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN TWO PROGRAMMES AT THE SAME TIME WITH JUST ONE BOOKING (E.G. BUSINESS POINTS AND AIRBERLIN SUPERSSELLER)? Any office participating in can in parallel take part in both the and airberlin business points programmes as part of the same one booking. However, the booking in which a business points and SuperSeller OSI element are entered is only authorised for SuperSeller with a booking in one of the following categories: Economy Class (Y, B, H, K, L, M) or Business Class (C, D, I, J, T). In all other categories not indicted above, only business points will be awarded as a rule. WHEN BOOKINGS ARE MADE BY PHONE, CAN THE SERVICE CENTER EMPLOYEE ENTER THE TPIN THEMSELVES? When a flight booking is made at an office participating in the programme, the TPIN of the booking office together with its airberlin agency number must be entered in the booking. Details must be entered before the ticket is issued; otherwise it is not possible to evaluate the booking. WHEN ARE THE POINTS CONVERTED INTO TOPBONUS MILES AND TRANSFERRED TO TOPBONUS? The points collected during the month are accumulated and converted into topbonus miles at the end of that month. They are then transferred to the respective employee s topbonus account a few days later. WHEN CAN I REDEEM MY FIRST TOPBONUS MILES? Your collected SuperSeller points are always converted into topbonus miles at the beginning of the next month and transferred to your topbonus account, so that they are available for redemption at the beginning of the following month. Please note that the points are always credited in the month in which the booked ticket is used, and not at the time of booking.

WHEN DO TOPBONUS MILES EXPIRE? In accordance with the topbonus terms and conditions of membership, your topbonus miles will expire three years after they have been credited. CAN TOPBONUS MILES BE TRANSFERRED TO OTHER PEOPLE? topbonus miles may not be transferred to other people. You can, however, book award flights for third parties. You can only collect points on flights operated by the airberlin group. This also includes the partial routes of a codeshare flight that are carried out with an airberlin group operating flight number. The corresponding flight ticket must also be issued on airberlin (745) ticket stock. CAN I USE AWARD MILES FOR FLIGHTS WITH OTHER AIRLINES (E.G. ETIHAD AIRWAYS)? Award flights with topbonus airline partners can also be booked via topbonus. There are only incentives for flight bookings. Optional extras are not included in the program. WHAT HAPPENS TO BOOKINGS FOR 2017 THAT ARE OPERATED BY A NEW, INDEPENDENT AIRLINE AT THE TIME OF DEPARTURE? At present, all bookings that are issued on a 745 document at the time of departure and operated by the airberlin group, are included in the program. We will notify you well in advance if changes will be made WHY ARE THERE NO INCENTIVES IN THE AIRBERLIN SUPERSELLER PROGRAM FOR BOOKINGS MADE IN 2016? is based on the use of a PIN code, and thus only those tickets are included that have the appropriate TPIN. This TPIN is only sent to members following successful registration and can only be used from 01.01.2017. DOES THE AIRBERLIN SUPERSELLER PROGRAM INCLUDE THE OPTION OF A FREE SEAT RESERVATION OR ADDITIONAL FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE? No, this option does not exists. Seat reservations and additional free baggage allowance can be booked against award miles as part of the topbonus program and/or via the usual airberlin sales channels. The topbonus card can be used as before in accordance with the topbonus terms and conditions of membership,. Therefore, it can also be used to collect status miles for regular flights and for topbonus partners. IS THE AIRBERLIN SUPERSELLER PROGRAMME LINKED TO THE ETIHAD SUPERSELLER PROGRAM? is an independent incentive program and uses other criteria than those specified in the SuperSeller program offered by Etihad Airways.

WHICH DATA CAN AN AGENCY MAINTAIN ITSELF IN ITS AIRBERLIN SUPERSELLER PROFILE? Agency master data can only be maintained by our agency administration staff. You can contact them at any time by phone (0049 30/ 34342170) or e-mail (superseller@airberlin.com). Personal data can be modified in the airberlin SuperSeller profile at any time, if necessary. Please note that the data in your profile must always be the same as the data of the associated topbonus account. You can ask topbonus to modify the data in your topbonus profile.
