The tools included a chain saw, a weed eater, and a lawn mower. She advised that she has no suspects for the event but needed the event documented for insurance purposes. Pending further information there is no need for further action on this case. He left a canoe, a cannon, and other property in a barn at a rental property a friend was living in. He last saw the property in fall of 2014 and when he went to recover some of the property on October 13, 2015 he found the property was no longer in the barn. He has contact the rental agency, Capstone Rentals and several other individuals all denied having seen the property. Another prior resident of the property had taken custody of the canoe when the barn underwent construction and returned the canoe to the complainant but was unfamiliar with the remainder of the property. At this time this case is closed pending further investigatory information. Upon arrival I made contact with the male, who stated that his girlfriend was gathering her items and that they were arguing about some property. Upon arrival units made contact with both involved parties. They stated that the argument started about the cable bill. Both parties were advised to separate for the evening. No further action needed at this time. The caller stated that she observed a couple in the parking lot of Movies 10 arguing and she saw the male grab the female by the arm. Upon arrival units made contact with the male and female who stated that their vehicle wouldn't start and that they were arguing about who to call for a ride. The male, Evan Smith, was found to have an active warrant out of Perry County. He was arrested and transported to SEORJ without further incident. The caller stated that while he was sleeping, he heard two people arguing and one threw a bottle and left in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. Units patrolled the area and could not locate any signs of a broken bottle. Deputies returned to patrol. No further action needed at this time. Individuals who were hosting party were advised that after 2300hrs (11pm) there was an expectation quiet and any further complaints related to a noise complaint could result in one or all being criminally charged. Returned to patrol, no further action taken. The complainant advised that an individual had just busted the driver's side window of her vehicle out while in a dispute. Deputies arrived to find that the suspect had fled the scene. It was also discovered that a robbery had taken place among the individuals that were in the dispute. A crowbar was used to threaten the victim for all the money he had in his pocket while beating him with it. The suspect fled the scene after causing physical injuries to the victim and taking $170. This case is still under investigation. The complainant stated that they could hear several gunshots in the area and were unsure of the safety and direction of the shots. Deputies patrolled the area and did not observe any sounds of gunshots. No further action was taken in this case. When I arrived I spoke with the person who called this in. She explained that the vehicle that is along the roadway was involved in an assault last night in Vinton County. I then had the dispatch center contact ODNR and was advised that there was no hold on the vehicle. The vehicle was legally parked and no further action was taken. Page 4 of 7

Upon arrival, deputies met with the complainant who stated that she had been assaulted by a live-in domestic partner. The complainant did have visible, physical injuries and was transported to OMH for treatment. Upon speaking with the suspect, he told Deputies that he had caused the injuries. The suspect was then placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the SEORJ. Made contact with the homeowner who advised that she was in bed sleeping and she did not call for assistance. This complaint was is unfounded, all was well in the home, returned to patrol. Upon arriving on scene contact was made with the homeowner, and it was discovered they were having issues with their phone line and there was no emergency. No further action taken. Upon arrival units checked the residence and found it to be empty. The open door was locked and shut, no further action. The male was reported to be wearing a brown/ tan jacket over a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Units patrolled First Street and the surrounding area but had negative contact. INCD TYPE: 063.03 INCIDENT DATE: 10/25/2015 RPT DATE: 10/25/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 21:24 RPT TIME: 21:24 Dollar General + 70 N Plains Rd The Plains 15-5274 On 10-25-2015 the Athens County Sheriff's Office received a report of a shoplifter at the Dollar General store of The Plains. A female removed approximately $30 worth of items from the store. This matter is under investigation. Page 6 of 7

10/23/2015 to INCD TYPE: 038.00 INCIDENT DATE: 10/25/2015 RPT DATE: 10/25/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 23:06 RPT TIME: 23:06 0 S Blackburn Rd Athens 15-5276 On October 25, 2015 Deputy Chris Tomsha conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration, and the registered owner had an active warrant out of Athens County. Upon making contact the driver was identified as Gerald Douglas Jr. During the course of the investigation it was also discovered that the vehicle had fictitious plates, and Douglas currently had a suspended drivers license. Douglas was arrested pursuant to the active warrant, and was cited for expired registration, fictitious tags, and driving under suspension. During a vehicle inventory a glass container containing white powder along with a glass pipe were located. The powder was field tested and tested positive for methamphetamine. The powder and pipe will be sent away for testing and additional charges are pending. A complainant was called in to AC 911 about individuals entering vehicles. Vehicles were located that had been entered and loose change stolen. The identity of the suspects is unknown at this time, however his incident remains under investigation. Deputies patrolled the area and located a set of vehicles that had been entered. No suspects were located at this time.
