In this spirit, ECE has written and published, in collaboration with the University of Karlsruhe, a sustainability manual for shopping centers. Further impetus has come from the independent experts who sit on the company s Sustainability Advisory Board. The primary objective is to save energy and reduce CO emissions. For example, at Europa-Galerie heat exchangers are used to recover heat from exhaust air and transfer this heat to the supply air.
