INVITATION WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE ASSOCIATION OF ALBANIA August 2009 Dear Sir/Madam We are pleased to inform you that the Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania is conducting its 9 th Annual Conference and Exhibition in Tirana, at the Tirana International Hotel, on November 04-06, 2009. As we have done in the past, in addition to our normally full Conference Program, we have planned to conduct a concurrent three-day Exhibition to allow companies and other interested organizations to display their products and services. Our Conference and Exhibition of last year was extremely successful. Based on the registration information from last year, more than 300 participants representing senior levels of central and local government, water utilities from across Albania, the donor community, and private companies were in attendance at this event. Over the past nine years, we have earned the trusted respect of the Government and of the Donor community in Albania, as an organization that has worked to represent the interests of the operating utilities in the water sector in Albania, and to provide input on policy and procedures within the Government that impact the safe and reliable provision of water supply and sewerage services. This year, as in the past, we are inviting the participation and support of private sector companies, but we are also offering them an opportunity to have a more visible role in the activities of the Conference. We will do this by way of offering exhibit space at the Conference site and by allocating time within the Conference Program for presentations by each of those exhibitors, who choose to make a formal, professional presentation. To reserve your exhibit space within the Exhibition, please complete the attached application, and also indicate if you desire to make a 5-7 minute formal, professional presentation as a part of our Conference Program. About the Water Supply & Sewerage Association of Albania The Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania is a professional, nonprofit association of water supply and sewerage professionals, who wish to improve the management of the Water Supply and Sewerage Sector, making it efficient, sustainable and effective in accordance with the current Laws and Regulations in Albania. The Association was formed in the spring of 2000 by a group of representatives from eight water supply and sewerage enterprises in Albania. These individuals saw a need for a professional association to represent the interests of the operating enterprises in the water sector, and to raise the level of professionalism in the sector. Location of Exhibition The Conference and Exhibition will take place at the Tirana International Hotel in an area immediately adjacent to the Conference Presentation Hall. All Coffee Breaks will be served in the Conference Exhibition Area to ensure maximum exposure of Exhibitors to Conference attendees. The Tirana International Hotel is a modern high-rise property located in Tirana, Albania. Situated in the commercial center of Tirana, the hotel is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is 35 kilometers from the beach and the port of Durres, and Tirana-Rinas International Airport is 28 kilometers away. 4

Furnished Exhibit Space Each exhibit space will be furnished with side dividers and back panel for displaying signage or displays that can be adhered to the panel. A printed company name sign will be provided. A display table with tablecloth will be provided. Normal electrical power (200-220) for lighting level service will be provided. Set-up and Removal of Exhibit Displays All exhibitors are asked to set up their displays during the late morning/early afternoon of the first day of the Exhibition, 4 November, starting no earlier than 11:00 am and to be completed with display set up by 5:00 pm. All Exhibitors are asked to remove their displays by no later than 4:00 pm on the last day of the Exhibition. Application for Exhibit Space Companies and organizations interested in exhibiting at the Annual Conference should complete the Exhibitor Application Form and return it to the Association, as soon as possible, but before 28 September. Space preferences will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis. Once an exhibit space has been confirmed, an exhibitor must make payment within 14 days of exhibit space confirmation to guarantee space assignment at the Exhibition.
