RESEARCH PROJECTS Participated at the following research projects as a collaborator: 2014-Today 2012-Today Monitoring and conservation status assessment of plant species of Community interest in Greece. An inventory of the flora and the habitat types of Chelmos Vouraikos National Park. 2011-2012 Inventory of biodiversity in two areas of mining activity (Anavra and Agria Magnesia) and recommendations for improving the conditions that contribute to faster biodiversity restoration. 2010-2012 The endemic, rare and threatened plant species of Mt Oiti (Sterea Ellas, Greece). 2009-2010 Further Development and Implementation of an EU-level Forest Monitoring System. 2008-2010 Landscape restoration of Strofilia coastal forest (Kaiafas area, Peloponnese. 2007-2008 Restoration of the Ancient Olympia archeological landscape. 2007-2008 Upgrade the research infrastructure of the Mediterranean Forest Ecosystems Institute of Athens regarding environment and landscape restoration after mining and expansion of rehabilitation activities. 2005-2010 Investigation of the vagetative restoration abilities for disturbed by mining activities areas in high altitudes and in unfavourable (xerothermic) conditions and simultaneous diachronic investigation of species behaviour which are used in hydroseeding. 2000-2001 Mapping the habitat types of the protected areas included in Directive 92/43 EEC (Natura 2000) in Greece. 4
