Our coach tour, The Country Roads of France will be escorted by Insight Vacations. We will then be escorted by Avalon as we join our luxury cruise ship The Creativity for seven nights, cruising Paris to Normandy I m sure many of you have travelled to Paris or maybe through France on previous journeys, I believe this exciting and comprehensive itinerary will give you time to enjoy and immerse yourselves in this wonderful culture. A leisurely 16 day tour from Paris to the Champagne capital of Troyes and the wine village of Chablis. We touch on the Pyrenees and enjoy a one night stay in the Alpine village of Chamonix en route to the south of France and the French Riviera. Just to imagine we will be visiting that area, conjures up excitement in us all! The south is beautiful the French countryside and a feeling of really having time to experience the culture and of course wonderful food of this country. The magnificent ancient towns and cities that we visit are unforgettable. My favourite is Arles - just to walk around there with Van Gogh signs he had lived here - he had coffee there, it is amazing! From the south back towards Paris, the scenic drive through the Dordogne Valley is just beautiful! Combine passion and the good life with art, culture and brilliant landscapes, and you have Northern France. Not forgetting the beaches of Normandy where the allied forces landed during World War 11 s D-Day invasion. We have seven nights on board our beautiful cruise boat from Paris to Normandy and back. For those of you who have experienced cruising on other tours, you know how wonderful the cruising component of a holiday can be. It is so relaxing, the service and food on the boat is exceptional not forgetting we have beautiful French wines included with our dinner each evening. I am so looking forward to experiencing Northern France from a cruise ship! Kay Richardson
