1 Airports 1 Star Alliance Connection Centres (SCC) ensure timely and smooth transfers of bags and passengers when connections are tight, this decreases the distress to customers of missing their connection themselves or arriving at their destination without their bags. 2 Star Alliance Gold Track allows Gold Status holders to proceed more smoothly through security, bypassing the usual queues. It is currently available in more than 140 locations globally and is being rolled out airport by airport across our network. Star Alliance RTW Fare / Flight - Applicability - Star Alliance Round the World fare applies for Round the World travel from and to countries which are served by the 28 Star Alliance member carriers - In general, Round the World fares are offered on all Star Alliance operating and codeshared flight numbers including flights operated by regional partner airlines. Our member airlines do however have the right to exclude single flights from the Round the World fare. - As Star Alliance members, carriers can limit the number of passengers carried on any given flight traveling on a Round the World fare - Certain restrictions for Cuba, Ghana, Nigeria & Venezuela in place

Star Alliance RTW Fare / Other Terms & Conditions Baggage Allowance -For economy class you may allow for one (1) piece of baggage at the weight of 20kg, business class travel allows for two (2) pieces at a combined weight of 30kg and for first class, two (2) pieces at a combined weight of 40kg may be checked free of charge for the whole itinerary/journey. - In some instances individual carriers may apply a higher free baggage allowance. Please refer to individual carriers for potential baggage charges and more information should you require additional allowance.
