Continue to Nakhal Fort which lies on a hill at the base of Mount Nakhal and was built 350 years ago to protect trade routes. With abundant groundwater springs, this oasis town was the perfect stop over on the caravan trail between the UAE to the Sultanate of Oman. Explore the museum to learn about the unique irrigation system known as Falaj. Continue on to Hili Gardens and the city s archaeological sites where a village and a burial ground dating back to 2700 B.C. were discovered. Later, drive to the city of Dubai, known for its beautiful coasts and magnificent man-made wonders.
