There is a hop-on and hop-off service available if you want to explore some of the sites on the tour, such as the Colosseum. Or take a stroll through Villa Borghese, a beautiful park located in central Rome near to Piazza del Popolo. Go souvenir shopping or send your postcards, post them in the yellow post boxes located at either side of the Colonnades at St. Peter s as they will have the Vatican State stamp posted on them. Day 3. Morning - Papal Audience at 10:30 hours in St. Peter s Audience Hall. Depart Hotel at 08:15 hours. During our tour we will visit the Catacomb of Santa Domitilla, we will have a catacomb guide who will explain the history and take you on a tour of the Catacomb. Note: The Catacomb can be claustrophobic and once you start the tour you have to complete it as you cannot go back. Upon arrival we meet our guide at the Coach park and take the short shuttle bus ride to the centre of San Giovanni Rotondo. We will visit with our guide, all the places of Padre Pio, such as the Museum, the old Church and the new Church, Saint Pio and see the body of Padre Pio in the Crypt of the Church. We will also visit the English office were you will see a short film and then receive a blessing with the glove of Padro Pio. We will leave San Giovanni Rotondo at approximately 14:30 hours for our journey back to Rome. We will have a comfort stop on the way and arrive in Rome at approx. 20:30 hours. Evening meal at 21:00 hours Day 6. Morning - Depart from the Hotel at 11:00 hours. for our transfer to Rome Ciampino Airport for Flight Number FR 3003 at 1410 hours, check in opens at 12:10 hours.
