CruiseBuilder 2.0 Tutorial How to Set Up CruiseBuilder 2.0 How to Use CruiseBuilder 2.0 Booking Engine

Visit Our Main Site Go to: www.crystalcruises.com to find the Travel Agent Center link located at the bottom of the page. This will be your path to CruiseBuilder 2.0. To access CruiseBuilder 2.0 you must login to the Travel Agent Center before you can continue.

Welcome to the Travel Agent Center If you have never been to the Travel Agent Center, you will first be asked to choose the District Sales Manager for your region. Note: Once you have selected a District Sales Manager (DSM) the Travel Agent Center webpage will appear. The Travel Agent Center is the dashboard for all your Crystal Cruise sales and training tools. When you are finished browsing the site, click the CruiseBuilder 2.0 button.

Administrator Login to CruiseBuilder 2.0 Agency administrators must activate their agency s account in CruiseBuilder2.0 by clicking the agency password link. The administrator will need the agency s ARC number and password. If the administrator has forgotten the password or login, please click the appropriate link to the right. A password will be sent to the agency email address on file. For agencies new to Crystal Cruises CruiseBuilder please use click here to register link at bottom of page.

Administrator Login After clicking login for your agency ARC number and agency password. You will receive this page offering you one of two choices: you may select an existing agent as an administrator or create a new one.

Creating an Account for the Administrator and Adding Agents Creating an account is easy. First create an Agent Login ID. Enter all of your information and check the agency administrator box. Next, you will see the Can View and Can Change, drop down menus. There are 3 options in each. The agency administrator can select access rights. Next you will see check boxes, allowing you to set permissions. Click the ADD AGENT button at the bottom of the screen to confirm your administrator account. The agency administrator will receive a password via email from Crystal Cruises to the agency s email address. Now you can set up individual accounts for each agent by repeating these steps. Note: Remember you are creating different accounts and passwords for each employee, so you may want to ask them what is easy for them to remember.

Agent Login to CruiseBuilder 2.0 Registered CruiseBuilder users may continue to use their current Agent ID and password. TIP: If you can t remember your password or agent ID, please click on the link Request a new one online or contact your agency administrator. If your agency is new to Crystal Cruises CruiseBuilder your agency administrator must create an agent account to access. Use click here to register link.

Welcome to CruiseBuilder 2.0! CruiseBuilder 2.0 is a step-by-step process, that makes online booking easy. On this page you can search for itineraries in our Find the Perfect Cruise section or experienced users you can click to Switch to Expert Mode link. TIP: Expert mode is a streamlined version designed to provide the user with swifter booking confirmations.

Using Expert Mode CruiseBuilder 2.0 Expert Mode has all of the same features but in two easy steps. First you enter your client s cruise details, guest Information and stateroom choices. Then click Continue to complete. TIP: If you are using Expert Mode. We recommend you research destinations, voyage dates and cruise numbers before entering.

Using Expert Mode Continued Secondly enter your client s transportation options and pre- & post-cruise choices. Then click Continue to go directly to your cruise summary page and receive your booking number. Note: You can edit your cruise summary from any of the EDIT boxes or switch back to CruiseBuilder 2.0 without starting over.

How to use CruiseBuilder 2.0 If you know what specific cruise you want, you may enter the cruise number. If you only know a location or a time frame, you can search upcoming cruises that way, as well. For this example, we are selecting Summer 2012 as a travel date on Crystal Symphony. Then click the Baltic Dreams link and CruiseBuilder 2.0 will populate the results. A list of three cruises fit our search criteria. After reading the available voyages, pick the one in which your clients are interested. Note: Combination cruises are very popular with our guests and are now easier to book on CruiseBuilder 2.0.

Who Will be Traveling? Fill out your guests first and last names then continue to scroll down to select a stateroom. Note: The right side of the page will automatically update your itinerary as you complete each section. TIP: If your client is a Crystal Society Member, click the box below the guest name to get membership savings. The updated price will appear on the Summary page. Note: CruiseBuilder 2.0 has four main pages and are all you ll need to complete your online booking in a user-friendly format.

Selecting a Stateroom The Next option is selecting a stateroom for your guests. In standard mode you can view stateroom layouts, sizes and basic pricing. You can also view layouts and pictures or click on each picture to enlarge for greater detail. This feature was designed to help you make the best choices for your clients. You can scroll down to see all air details, transfers and the selected stateroom amenities. Then click the Choose My Room button. Our search engine selects the best possible room based upon your selections.

Stateroom Amenities In this section you will see all the details and amenities included with your stateroom choice. This section is divided up by the following: Room Features Beds and Bedding Stewardess/Butler Food & Beverage Hospitality Services Entertainment Internet/Phones Bath and Bathroom Features Car Transfers (CP Only)

Stateroom Selection Options You will automatically be offered the best available location. You can choose the Suggested Stateroom by clicking on the Accept Stateroom 9079 (for example) button in the upper left corner or choose another by clicking the link below to Search for a Different Stateroom. You can also click on Request a Guaranteed Room and Rate link. This option allows you to choose a connecting stateroom or type in a custom request. Note: By requesting a guaranteed room, your client will be placed in a room of your selected category. Your client will be assigned a specific stateroom before sailing. Once completed, click the Continue button.

Dining Reservations This pages allows you to reserve dining times and seating preferences, including our new Open Dining by Reservation. Once a selection is made, a drop-down menu will give you a choice of table sizes and an option to dine with guests by entering their names. Note: Open Dining by Reservation times can only be made once your cruise is fully paid. Then click Continue to move to the next page.

Air/Sea, Pre- and Post- Cruise Hotel Options This page allows you to either select a gateway city as part Air/Sea Program or choose the cruise only option. For guest choosing cruise only click on I will make my own flight arrangements. Also on this page you can see what pre- and post- options Crystal Cruises has available for our guests. For example, this specific voyage offers a pre-cruise option to stay in or around Hamburg and a post-cruise option to stay in Stockholm for 1-3 nights after your voyage. Once you have selected the best options for your clients, click Continue.

Cruise Summary This page gives you a full summary of the cruise itinerary for review. You may edit any part of the itinerary by clicking the EDIT button on the upper right corner of each box. Once the itinerary is set, the agent can confirm the reservation by clicking on the payment option boxes and entering the information. Note: Travel insurance is included by default. You may click on the Travel Insurance by BerkelyCare to learn more about the program. If guests do NOT wish to purchase insurance, please click on the checked boxes to remove the option. TIP: We always recommend protecting your clients vacation investment with travel insurance. You must then select the Hold With No Deposit or Pay Deposit Or In Full button.

Guest Information The final step in the booking process is to enter Guest Information. Please enter as much information as you have for each guest. Note: Required fields are title, first name, last name, gender and date of birth. Click Continue to confirm reservation.

Your Clients Are Booked! Congratulations you have booked your clients vacation using Crystal Cruises online booking engine. This page gives a summary of your booking. An automatic confirmation will be sent to your agent s registered email address. Also notice at your top right, you will see view booking details which will provide you with your final booking confirmation and allow you to make any changes to your itinerary.

View Booking Details Example to the right is a cruise only guests. Note: Circled areas indicate cruise only credit and transport status declined. Note the five tabs to the right that allow you to edit any of your booking options. Also note the show commission details link. If permissions are allowed you will have the choice to view and email your commission details.
