We are delighted that you are joining us for Admitted Student Day! Admitted Student Day provides an excellent opportunity for you and your family to explore all that CU-Boulder and the Boulder community have to offer. Please use this guide as your complete source of information for Admitted Student Day, including driving and parking directions, agenda and check-in information, where to stay, and what to do while you are in Boulder. The Coors Events Center is located on Regent Drive, south of Police and Parking Services and the Regent Auto Park. Drive into Boulder on U.S. Route 36, exit onto Colorado Ave (turn west), make your first left onto Regent Drive. For stepby-step driving directions, visit www.colorado.edu/visit/directions. TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS For information about public transportation throughout Denver, Boulder, and from the airport, visit www.rtd-denver.com. CONSTRUCTION Broadway is under construction, and we recommend avoiding it or finding alternative routes.
Parking Free parking will be available in the following lots. Parking attendants will direct you, but please arrive early and allow adequate time. If you park in an undesignated lot, you need to pay for parking or you will receive a ticket. The Regent Autopark and 436 Lots are located on the corner of Colorado Ave. and Regent Dr. It is a five to 10 minute walk to the Coors Events Center. Lot 430 is located off Regent Dr., east of the Center for Community and is a five minute walk to the Coors Events Center. Lot 308 is across from the Center for Community. It is a 10 minute walk to the Coors Events Center. Kittredge Loop Road Parking - Four parking areas are available off of Kittredge Loop Road. Approximate walking time to the Coors Events Center: less than five minutes from Lot 418, five to 10 minutes from Lot 414, 10 minutes from Lot 402, and 10 to 15 minutes from Lot 470. ADA Parking - Please contact Katherine.Malone@colorado.edu regarding accessibility accommodations. She can arrange for a shuttle to the Coors Events Center, provide parking directions, and offer suggestions for campus transportation. Planning Your Day Admitted Student Day Agenda Dining at CU-Boulder Admitted Student Day is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of all that CU-Boulder has to offer. We have wonderful dining facilities and encourage you to join us for lunch. You have two options to dine on campus at Admitted Student Day. The first is CU-Boulder s new Center for Community (C4C), which has nine made-to-order stations, including Persian, Italian, and sushi. Purchase your C4C meal ticket at http://cucs.colorado.edu/confreg/admittedstudentday2011 no later than March 28, and your meal card will be available for pick-up near check in at Coors Events Center. You may also dine in the University Memorial Center (UMC), CU-Boulder s student center.
