Honouring the 2011 President s Teams in St. Tropez - The unique luxury weekend for newly qualified and current president s teams from PM-International AG 08/2011 OBTAINER WORLDWIDE 25
The annual tribute to the president s teams is an integral part of the tradition at PM-International and means unforgettable moments and luxurious highlights for all participants against a breathtaking backdrop. At the same time, these events are one of the most outstanding highlights in the career of a business partner at PM-International AG. All newly qualified president s teams were also bestowed this special honour this year. This year s event was also a very special event, because the founder and CEO of PM-International AG, Rolf Sorg, and his wife Vicki welcomed a total of 64 president s teams in their villa on the Côte d Azur - the largest number of newly qualified president s teams ever. The tribute weekend started on Friday June 24, 2011 with the arrival of the invited guests from numerous countries. The mere arrival at one of the most beautiful and world famous hotels - which guarantees high-class style, the best comfort and total wellness - immediately took many people s breath away. The subsequent befitting VIP shuttle service to Rolf and Vicki Sorg s villa was a small foretaste of unforgettable days with highlights of pure luxury and glamour. Even though, strictly speaking in German, St. Tropez also lovingly means too much, anything but too much was promised to the guests prior to the PM tribute weekend! It was highlight after highlight - the first was the comfortable and personalised reception of the guests in the Sorg family s villa. Everyone loved the relaxed, family afternoon with personal talks, a welcome dip in the inviting pool and a casual get-together in the villa s impressive tropical garden with its stunning view over the bay of St. Tropez. Rolf and Vicki Sorg of course had to personally spoil their guests in this setting with Provençal specialties. Then the day appropriately concluded with dinner in a romantic country restaurant with delicacies of southern French cuisine. First class living continued on the second day with a boat excursion on the Sorg s private yacht, a special shopping experience in the trendiest boutiques and stores in St. Tropez, including a shuttle service for the guests, and a subsequent luncheon at the world famous Club 55. The afternoon s programme held the absolute highlight of the tribute weekend: The official tribute to the president s teams with Rolf Sorg and his wife Vicki personally presenting the president s team needle on their villa terrace that was adorned with flowers. A subsequent photo shoot documented this outstanding event in the career of business partners at PM-International AG. The crowning touch of the tributes was an exclusive summer night party that lasted until the early morning hours - a real special feature of this exclusive weekend, because the founder and CEO of PM-International AG, Rolf Sorg, and his wife Vicki personally invited the current president s teams to this 26 OBTAINER WORLDWIDE 08/2011
event as well. Over 100 guests experienced a unique, roaring celebration that left nothing to be desired. The guests were enchanted by a live band, a grandiose atmosphere and dancing before the unparalleled night time panorama of Côte d Azur. The finest luxury also characterised the following highlights: Pure pampering with wellness, sunbathing and a welcome dip in the sea on the beach of St. Maxime, as well as a luncheon at the posh Maxime Plage and dinner at the castle hotel Château de la Messardiere high above St. Tropez. A particular highlight and moving moment of this weekend, in particular for Rolf Sorg and his wife Vicki, was that here, 11 years ago, she gave the yes word. All managers at and above the president s team level at PM-International AG, who had qualified by doubling sales, experienced a final surprise programme that was entitled maritime. It was an exceptional trip in the form of a sailing race on three impressively large sailing boats. Divided into three sailing crews, they fought for a PM cup 08/2011 OBTAINER WORLDWIDE 27
that was made especially for this event. This also showed what could be achieved with true, well-coordinated teamwork at the winch and at the helm. After hot manoeuvres on high seas, there was a stopover to recharge at the worldrenowned Pampelone beach, the largest sand beach on the Côte d Azur. Just right - relaxing in the bright sun, white sand between your toes, swimming, snorkelling and an exclusive picnic as a highlight. Well rested and strengthened, everyone returned to the ships for the second stage of the race. Of course, a winning crew was selected at the end of this sailing experience, but everyone came to the same conclusion at the subsequent farewell dinner: Everyone was a winner on this exciting and wonderful race day! 28 OBTAINER WORLDWIDE 08/2011
