She is a member of the AHEAD Board and serves on the advisory boards for Bookshare, the Alternate Text Production Center (ATPC), and the Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC). She also leads the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) project for the California Community Colleges Chancellor s Office. In 2010-2011, she served as the chair for the national Advisory Commission on Accessible Instructional Materials in Postsecondary Education. Mardy Kuntzelman, the District's Section 504 and ADA Compliance Administrator, has been designated to coordinate compliance with the non-discrimination requirements contained in the Department of Justice regulations implementing Subtitle A of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 12131), which prohibits discrimination on the basis on disability by public agencies and Section 504 of the Rehabilitations Act as well as California disability laws and regulations. However, DO NOT park in the Faculty/Staff parking lot at the Center for Math & Sciences building next door or you WILL get a ticket.
