Your Itinerary Moscow to St Petersburg DAY 1, ARRIVE IN MOSCOW FOR YOUR RUSSIA RIVER CRUISE Welcome to the gorgeous capital of Russia - Moscow! Today you board your cruise ship. Dinner is served onboard. DAY 2, MOSCOW The capital of Russia since the late 15th century, Moscow has always been a popular destination. During your stay, you will have an opportunity to see city s world renown attractions that include the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Today you will enjoy the sightseeing bus tour of this ancient Russian capital, including St. Sofia Embankment of the Moskva-river; The Bolshoy Stone Bridge; Cathedral of Christ the Savior and Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts; the new monument to Peter the Great; Gorky Park; stop at New Maiden Convent; observation platform of Sparrow (Lenin) Hills; Viktory Park and Poklonnaya Hill with World War II Memorial; Kutuzov Avenue; White House. For groups, an additional optional evening entertainment and tours are available, and you are welcome to take a Moscow by Night city tour, or attend a circus or theatre performance. DAY 3, MOSCOW Find your feet at the morning tour of the Kremlin: the former residence of Russian czars, an architectural ensemble of unique beauty, which took shape between the 15-th and 20-th centuries. Cathedral Square - the center of the Kremlin with the 15-th century Assumption Cathedral, the main church of Russia, the 15-th century Annunciation Cathedral, the private church of Russian czars and the 16-th century Cathedral of the Archangel, the burial place of the czars. On the ground of the Kremlin there are famous Czar Cannon of the 16-th century and Czar Bell of the 18-th century. DAY 4, UGLICH Uglich is one of the oldest, and, probably, one of the most beloved Russian towns, and a place of a pilgrimage of Russian Czars. According to a local legend its origin goes back to back to 937. The view of the town as it is approached from the Volga River is especially lovely with the Cathedral of the Resurrection and St. John s Church looming on the horizon. Take a walking tour of this town, visit the Kremlin, the Cathedral of the Resurrection and the Church of St. Demitrius of the Blood. Explore the Flea Market.

DAY 5, YAROSLAVL Stretching for 18 miles on both banks of the Volga River, Yaroslavl is an important Volga port with a population of 600,000. It was founded in the 11th century by Prince Yaroslav the Wise and today retains many noteworthy monuments of its colorful past. The city tour includes the Church of Elijah the Prophet. Visit Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery which has been included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. DAY 6, GORITSY icon collection in the world. You will visit one of the oldest and most famous monasteries in Russia the Monastery of St. Cyril of the White Lake. Dating back to the 14th century, it is a home to the most exquisite icon collection in the world. Visit Cyrilo-Belozersky Monastery, which has six centuries of glorious history, home to the most exquisite DAY 7, KIZHI Enjoy the magnificent Northern Russian nature and scenery while cruising trough Lake Onega, the second largest lake in Europe. M/S Tikhy Don 4* MS Tikhi Don is a very well-maintained ship that has undergone complete general reconstruction to meet the demands and requirements particularly of the North American market. Now she has elevator, better arrangements of internal premises and Western decor with portraits of Russian tsars and famous nobles of Russian Empire. All cabins are furnished identically in a very nice traditional style. Continental cuisine and Russian Dishes. On the ship there are 110 comfortable outside staterooms: 2 Panorama Suites, 4 Junior Suites, 34 Twin Deluxe Plus, 70 Twin Deluxe. All staterooms are outside with river view. Staterooms on all decks have large opening windows; Panorama Suites have 5 non-opening panoramic windows. In all staterooms: satellite TV, board radio, telephone, small fridge, hairdryer, 220 V - two round pins, 110 V sockets for both US and European plugs, safe box. PANORAMA SUITE The two Panorama Suites, ship s best cabins, are in the very front of the Upper Deck. Each has five large windows that do not open for safety reasons, but excellent air-conditioning makes amends. They are oneroomed and furnished with two arm-chairs, coffee table, wardrobe, shelves, mirror with padded stool and dressing table. Safe and hairdryer are also there. JUNIOR SUITE Junior Suites are spacious one-roomed cabins with two windows each. There are four such cabins on the ship. Two of them are in the front of Boat Deck and the other two are in the back of Upper Deck. Furnishings: two arm-chairs, coffee table, wardrobe, shelves, mirror with padded stool and dressing table. Safe and hairdryer are also there.

TWIN DELUXE PLUS Twin Deluxe Plus are expanded staterooms located on Boat Deck. There are thirty four of them. They are furnished with two arm-chairs, coffee table, wardrobe, shelves, mirror with padded stool and dressing table. Safe and hairdryer are also there. TWIN DELUXE Twin Deluxe are comfortable cabins that are most common on the ship: they are located on Upper Deck and Main Deck. Two of them are located on Boat Deck. Total of these cabins on the ship is seventy. They are furnished with two arm-chairs, coffee table, wardrobe, shelves, mirror with padded stool and dressing table. Safe and hairdryer are also there.
