It is surrounded by lovely gardens, boutiques, shops and restaurants. It is located in the middle of Avenida Diagonal and has excellent public transport connections as well as being highly accessible from the trade fair and the airport. It offers 103 large, bright, comfortable rooms in a peaceful area. Every room has a computer connection. The hotel also has 10 junior suites, well-appointed, spacious rooms with a lounge and two bathrooms. There is a café and a snack-bar. The Amesis restaurant has an excellent Mediterranean cuisine menu that guests can sample at lunch or dinner. There are conference rooms and banquet halls that can seat 120 people. The hotel is easily accessible from the main tourist area of the city. It is also close to the university campus, Camp Nou and the conference centre (Palau de Congresos de Catalunya). The common aim and mission The European Pultrusion Technology Association (EPTA) is an association formed in 1989 by the leading FRC (Fiber Reinforced Composites) Pultruders in Europe and is open for membership to all companies and organizations, wishing to participate in promoting the responsible use of Fiber Reinforced Composite Materials, and in the exchange of knowledge between members. EPTA s mission is to support the growth of the composite profiles industry by maximising external communication efforts and having an actively contributing membership. Membership Membership of EPTA is open to all companies and individuals worldwide, without restriction. However it is mandatory for European Pultruders and Pultrusion Equipment Manufacturers to become FULL Members. FULL Membership is aimed at all companies worldwide directly involved in pultrusion. ASSOCIATED Membership is aimed at research companies, end-users, universities and at the Pultrusion Industry allied businesses.
