This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Gaudi s crowning achievement the Cathedral of la Sagrada Familia. Afternoon: Lunch on own in Barcelona. Depart for Peñiscola (~2 hour drive). Arrive into Peñiscola and check into the Hotel Agora Spa & Resort. Peñiscola is located on the Costa del Azahar along the Mediterranean Sea. A popular seaside resort for Spaniards, Germans and French tourists, Peñiscola features the Castillo de Peñiscola last home of Pope Benedict XIII (known as Papa Luna) in the 15 th century. DAY FIVE: Sunday, June 22, 2014 PEÑISCOLA (B,D) Performance This morning, enjoy time to explore Peñiscola Castle. The rest of the morning is free to enjoy beach time in Peñiscola. Afternoon: Lunch and free time on own. Return to the hotel to get ready for this evening. Transfer to tonight s concert location (likely the Castillo de Peñiscola). Valencia is Spain s third largest city and one of its most important port cities along the Mediterranean Sea. Valencia has hosted the America s Cup Sailing race twice and is a fascinating mix of old Spanish traditions and modern architecture. Evening: Enjoy a guided tour of Valencia (coach and walking) walk the historic city center with its Old Quarter and Cathedral and see the modern city such as the City of Arts and Sciences, Palacio de Congressos and the stunning Palau de la Musica.
